My colleagues push me to work harder and more efficiently. I have a wonderful time meeting new people despite being considered an introvert. The managers are amazing, empathic people and the sense of togetherness between staff is one reason I look forward coming into work.
Am I punished for being single?
I'm like the only single person on my team. Everyone is married and has kids. Whenever there's some overtime tasks or events, I always got "voluntold" (the exact opposite of volunteering lol) to take those tasks. I understand how hard it is to balance work and family but it's not really fair that I don't get to enjoy my personal time. How will I ever have time to actually build a family on my own?

Management's needs to be more in touch with their employees regarding a healthy work environment. They will loose good workers, and end up with people who are clickish, arrogant, spiteful, who don't care about anything or anybody except themselves. They end up being fearful for their jobs, and willing to keep out anyone they deem a threat.
