Cook, (starting at $13.50 $14.00, the Cook is responsible for cooking and preparing food according to recipes and production guidelines while adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. The Cook should safely handle knives and equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, broilers, etc.
Lead Food Service Worker, (starting at $16), the Food Service Worker is responsible for preparing and/or building food items while providing customer service and adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. So Mass just passed a Salary History ban prohibiting employers to ask about wages and salaries earned from past jobs. I added the article I found online today below so you can check it out. My question is how does this really affect the diversity employment bias? Are the salary questions only excluded from job applications or are the background and reference checks also part of the ban?
