I miss working but the job I worked for many years began to overwhelm me. I liked to do my best but the job duties got to be so numerous that I began to feel as though I wasn’t putting out my best work. If you aren’t doing what you’re proud of and some began to fall behind, it was time to move on. #termination #management #health #stressful
Unemployment has caused me to be on the verge of homelessness because it has been over 3 months since i had to reregister my claim and it still hasn't been processed and i have called them almost every week expressing myconcerns and the importance of getting my benifits asap cause 2 1/2 of those months i had ZERO income. I couldn't pay rent, any kind of bills & had to pawn & borrow money just to get gas or groceries. Now im facing an eviction notice and i have uploaded the documents to my account for them to see and still there's nothinf they can do to expidite my claim to avoid being homeless. It makes me wonder just how many families are about to be evicted because their claim hasnt been processed.
I'm 47. I have health issues. I lost my job of 22 years to Covid. I worked for Canteen Vending as a cash room associate. I can not work weekends due to a prior commitment to care for someone. Day shift preferred.
Federal unemployment benefits are slated to end Sept. 6. Some people think Congress should consider extending that date due to the Covid delta variant.
Hello, I just wanted to share a tip with those of you who are frustrated with MA UI department. I filed in mid June for UI and for the past 6 weeks have been told my case is on HOLD and waiting to be assigned to an Adjuster. Every time I have called the UI number the representative would tell me the same thing and that I have not been assigned to an Adjuster and they have no idea when that will happen. So I read online and I found out that if you reach out to your State's Legislator for your district they can help! And sure enough, that is what I did. Within 2 days of reaching out, I heard back immediately (within a couple of hours) from my district State Representative, she asked me for some basic contact information. The very next day since my reaching out via email, I was contacted by the UI Adjuster (on the 2nd day post contact with the state rep) , by the 3rd day I was approved for benefits via my inbox online for UI benefits, and all my checks since mid June had been deposited! I highly encourage anyone having issues to do just what I did. It works!
