#coronavirus #unemployment I NEED HELP AND/OR ADVICE Good day everyone. In June I joined JobCase and in the interim, I posted an inquiry on unemployment. I had lost my full-time job due to Covid but luckily I still have two part-time jobs. I was wondering if I was eligible or applicable to receive COVID unemployment from the job that I lost due to Covid because I need it I need that money to pay my bills. With all of your advise, who cared to reply, advise that I am eligiblen for Covid unemployment not regular unemployment and I should call the office. I did just that, Spoke with a wonderful representative told her my situation including the jobs that I have the two part-time jobs and she told me that I was approved for the Covid unemployment. Within a few weeks afterwards, I received all my, what I thought was Covid unemployment from the date that I lost my first job, benefits. I continued to claim every week there after. TODAY, I received an email from the office stating that their records indicates that I worked during the time that I was claiming for unemployment and now I may be in trouble (lack of better terms). I called the office and I was told that I was never suppose to have received those funds, and the rep kept going on and on about this is fraud, etc. I was then advised to go online and submit my reasoning as to why I “lied”. Without giving me a chance to explain, she hung up. I went online and submit my “fight” and is now waiting for a reply to determine my faith; jail time, and /or repayment . To all of you, I ask for help. What to do? #benefits
My wife can not get a job because of the Long Island school schedule (A and B day). And my paycheck is not enough for bills. Does anyone know where my wife can apply for any federal or state level unemployment assistance?
