What is it called?

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions runs the state’s Unemployment Insurance (UI) program.

You can file your new Unemployment Insurance claim online.

All individuals applying for and receiving UI benefits are required to log into the New Mexico Workforce Connection Online System first in order to access the UI Tax & Claims System.

After logging in here, click on "Unemployment Insurance" under "Quick Menu" on the left-hand side of the screen.

The online UI Tax & Claims System is available from 4AM - 9PM, Sunday through Friday. The system is not available on Saturdays, which serves as a maintenance day.
