What is it called?
The Nevada Department for Unemployment, Training and Rehabilitation runs the state’s Unemployment Insurance (UI) program.
Online
The fastest way to file a claim is online. To file a claim online, you must create an account on the UI Online portal.

By Phone
You can also file for unemployment benefits or get help with your application by calling the Unemployment Insurance Call Center. The number you call depends on your area:
- Northern Nevada: 775-684-0350
- Southern Nevada: 702-486-0350
- Rural Areas and Out of State Callers: 888-890-8211
The TeleClaim Center hours are 8AM – 8PM, Monday – Friday.
Info you need to apply
To apply for unemployment, you need to provide personal information including:
- Social Security number
- Alien Registration number (if applicable)
- Alien Registration expiration date (if applicable)
- Birth date
- Home address
- Email address
