If you are here, you are probably trying to figure out your unemployment benefits to keep you afloat during this challenging time. Applying for unemployment benefits can be complicated, so we put together these resources to help you navigate.
What is it called?
Job Service North Dakota (UIICE) runs the states Unemployment Insurance (UI) program.
Online
The most convenient way to file a UI claim is online. To apply for unemployment, create a new account or login here. A claim may be filed online at any point during the day except between 10PM - Midnight.
By Phone
You can also file a claim using an automated phone system by calling 701-328-4995. The automated system is available any point during the day EXCEPT between 10PM - Midnight. Claims Center Staff are ONLY available by phone 88AM - 5PM, Monday through Friday
Info you need to apply
You must have the following information and documents
- Your Social Security Number
- Name, address and telephone number of all employers for whom you worked in the last 18 months
- Wage you are willing to accept
The following information and documents may also be required
- Union Local name and number
- DD214 member copy 4 (proof of military service and wages)
- SF8 and SF50 (proof of federal civilian service and wages)
- Your alien identification number (non-U.S. citizen authorized to work in the U.S.)
