GET READY FOR TURBULENT TUESDAY! Who's on your flight? [IBYC]

I'm telling you the truth... ¡MUST READ WITHOUT FAILURE!

FACT OR FICTION: Every airline thoroughly checks each passenger before allowing boarding on their flight. (For safety and security reasons.) Right or Wrong?

Then, why do we allow people on our personal flight in life a free boarding pass?

Especially those persons we definitely know...

-Don't like our husband or wife. -Hurt our mental health and welfare. -Make us feel less, small and inferior. -Backstab us out of envy or jealousy. -Say no to our aspirations and dreams. -Don't offer good suggestions or advise.

CASE AND POINT: The people you allow on your personal "flight in life" can often determine if you ever get off the runway of life.

Love, peace, joy and the pursuit of happiness for your family, solely depends on YOU.

Start checking your boarding passes, now!

I Believe You Can...!

AIM FOR THE SIX-FIGURE SALARY! [IBYC]

Don't taste that coffee yet. READ THIS FIRST!

I was like everyone else or even worse because I was living "pennies off the dollars." (Don't ask about the pains.)

When I decided that I NEEDED to change, so I could suitably provide for my family...¡even my family got angry with me!

CRAZY...Right? But, I made it anyway! Now they're smiling. What the heck?

Listen carefully... ABSOLUTELY nothing is beyond your reach if you just...

  1. Think.
  2. Meditate.
  3. Believe.
  4. Visualize.
  5. Write it out.
  6. Speak it out.
  7. Then act it out

*Bonus: ALWAYS say thank you at the end of your efforts. Then, allow everything else to fall-in-place for YOU.

I Believe You Can...!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! For Your Positive Notes/Feedback. [IBYC]

Thank you to everyone..!

Folks, life is a journey that crosses multiple layers of unknown and unforeseen paths. Therefore, don't ever assume that one path fits-all. That's not the case.

You must observe the paths before you, perhaps, take a few steps in the right direction, then ultimately create your own path that meets your expectations and definition of success.

Whether this hypothesis is true or false... always choose to fly, or simply spread your wings and SOAR.

I Believe You Can...!

STORY OF TWO BEGGARS! Silver, Gold or None. [IBYC]

I'm telling you the truth...(Read between 10pm - 11pm.)

Two beggars were traveling on the road of life trying to acquire change for exchange. One would usually ask for silver, the other preferred gold.

As their days were drawing to a dreary end, they realized their efforts were fruitless and to no avail.

In contrast to the beggars, my personal petition is that YOU prosper in 5 areas of your life. That's more valuable than silver and gold. Let's see...

  1. Love
  2. Peace
  3. Joy
  4. Happiness
  5. Abundance of health and wealth.

Therefore!, you MUST water the garden of thoughts in your mind so everything else can grow-in-place.

I Believe You Can...!

Innovative Work Calendar Idea? - I'd really appreciate your opinion👍

.

I’m setting up a business and I came up with this new work calendar idea.

As we all know, the typical work week is 5 days out of 7, Monday through Friday 9 am- 5pm.

In the goal of improving work/personal life balance some folks came up with the idea of a 4 day working week but with extended working hours. I personally do not see much advantage in this solution: I feel its too much work time packed in fewer days and I feel I would actually need that extra free day just to recover from the extra effort put in those 4 days.

I know my solution would generate some alignment issues with other businesses but I have no problem with it. Here it goes:

The month would be divided into 3 blocks of 10 days. Goodbye 4 weeks per month pattern. See Chart Below

I think this structure allows us to spread out more rest time and achieve true work/personal life balance.

The total days worked in a month amount to 19 vs 20 in the traditional schedule. This means 152 working hours vs 160. I would nonetheless pay for 160 hrs. Employees would only win. But so would the business; my bet is that a more relaxed schedule will increase general well-being and thus productivity.

Imagine you were offered to work in a company with such a schedule:

https://prnt.sc/2P4VRHSZmtai

A) Do you think you would prefer this solution over the traditional 5 days a week schedule?

B) Do you think you would have a better work/life balance with this structure than the fixed 4 straight work days proposal?

Thanks very much for any feedback👍

If You Ever Worked as a Recruiter, You Do NOT Want to Answer This Question ⛔

.

Or - Are you willing to admit it?

Did you ever hire someone due to her/his looks and or personality in spite of not being the best candidate?

I admit it.... I hired a young woman who killed me with her beauty and way of speaking. She did have a great profile for the role but thing is she was the 4th application I read out of 30-something.. Prefering skills testing, I rarely interview but on that round, I selected her as the first and only interview for that job. I was crazy about her from the first minute and didnt even look at any other applications.

Howwwwever….. ,and before anyone puts me in the pillory and throws their digital tomatoes at me, I vigorously plead NOT GUILTY of any Moral Wrongdoing due to being exposed to Extenuating Circumstances!!

She was a Parisian woman and like many Parisians, she had her eyelids half closed ( if you’ve ever been to Paris, you may have probably noticed this crazy thing) and spoke with a very thick French accent in English… It was like a spell on me** Thats gotta be worth a Pardon on the moral front right?😉😎

Objectively, I know it was truly nasty but I’m super happy I did it because its been 18 years we have been together😋

I had other situations where the candidate was super outgoing and we synched in awesomely but I was able to resist and seek the best fitting profile.

Someone else messed up like me? Or rather, do you dare tell your mess-ups as a recruiter ?😉

Ever feel one candidate is slightly better than another one but because somehow you synched better with the other candidate you chose that person?

C'est la vie les amis..

7 WARNING NOTICES YOU SHOULD KNOW! [IBYC]

I'm telling you the truth...(Must Read Without Failure.)

If you have lived a quiet life for a while, and could share an experience that would inspire someone's life, what would you say?

7 Warning Notices You Should Know:

Number 1. Don't be defined by others.

"Don't allow others to shake and bake your life and control you at-will. Because you may not manifest the best expression of who you were born to become."

Change your mindset now.

IT'S YOUR TIME FOR ADVANCEMENT! [IBYC]

I'm telling you the truth...(Must Read Without Failure.)

Don't be overly concerned with the past contents and context of what other people have said and done.

Rather, 1) Imagine where you want to be tomorrow, 2) Act with expectation, 3) Visualize the reality of choice, and 4) Seize those moments with a joyful smile.

Allow everything else to fall-in-place according to its purpose and will.

I Believe You Can...!
