I have never been this long without a job! 5 months and it has been trying!!! For all you jobcasers out there frustrated and pulling your hair out! My only advice is to stay on jobcase best sight to be on. I can't tell you how much community has helped me. Keep asking questions and someone in the realm of your scope of work will give you the answer your looking for. This is my favorite site of all times!!! Love you Jobcase!!!
Yes, you. I know how you're feeling right now, because it's the same way I've felt. Lost, frustrated, maybe even a little desperate. But no matter what negative emotions are threatening to swallow you up, KEEP PUSHING FORWARD. God will take you to where you need to go. Just meet him halfway and put in that hard work. Never give up, because I'm not giving up on you!
Although I really feel bad for some of the situations shared here, I am sure that it is comforting to many post-ers to see that it's not just them or something they're doing or not doing. As I see the various posts, in many ways I am frightened and discouraged, as I too will job hunting next year. It's just too bad that there isn't some way for those in need to band together and create a helping situation for one and all Thank you for the opportunity to share and help others.

This is your information, you should be able to easily control and share it as you see fit - & with just a few clicks, not constant copying and retyping. Fundamentally - we are working on all this to put you in the driver seat of your work-life.
2) EMPOWERING you through community Networking is not enough. Community is what matters. Community implies what is special about Jobcasers – we care about one another. We help navigate problems and opportunities. We don’t just help one another figure out what to do – we give support and encouragement. That is important. That is special. We will continue to evolve the tech that makes community building – large and small – easier and more effective for everyone.
3) ADVOCATING for workers interests Together as a community, we grow stronger as we grow larger. Together, we should reward good employers with our consumer dollars and encourage boardrooms to remember – workers are every bit as important to success as stockholders. And together, we will bring balance back to capitalism and make it work for everyone.
We only got here because so many of you have embraced a more positive way, where we support one another in the future of work. Thank you. Just as unions set out to protect workers, we have a vision to be a large, welcoming, open place for all – where workers are empowered, great employers are celebrated, and bad actors can be called out. A community for anyone: a) who cares about others, b) who drives their own work-life success, and c) who believes workers should be treated as well as stockholders.

It WAS a great network to work for. They DID care about their employees. Now want to force the Covid vaccine on everyone. Non FDA approved vaccine with no time to tell what it can do to you. Magnets that stick to your arm where vaccinated OR lose the job that you have worked so hard to be good at. AND served the patients so well as asked!!! Think they could have served dedicated employees better then this choice!!
After about 2 years searching for the right position and taking jobs that paid a lot less than I needed. I took them for a cash flow, not that they helped. I had to lose everything to get back to where I was or better. I am much happier, and have a great job with awesome management. It is at 3x the money I was getting and within a few months I will be able to get into my own place again.
