You ever have the type of day where you just knock it out of the park? Well I just got home from one of those days. Everything came together and I was just solving problems and knocking down obstacles left and right. My boss even came by to tell me what a great job she thought I was doing. I felt so proud of myself! This is perfect timing, too. I've been so down lately and desperately needed to feel like I matter to somebody. Being recognized at work has really put some pep in my step. If you guys have similar stories I'd love to hear about them. Let's all share in our success!
"It all started with a pair of pantyhose, some scissors and a bright idea." "Don’t underestimate a woman who wants her butt to look better in white pants."
Time is your most precious asset. Richest folks in the world cannot buy this. So the question is: how are you going to spend it, and how are you going to invest it? I spend it freely on time w kids, I foolishly spend it on too much tv. And, I invest it in Jobcase and education. I suggest you invest 30 mins watching 8 quick clips from a well-meaning billionaire. Ray Dalio built the mist successful Hedge Fund company in the world. He made himself a billionaire. Now, whatever you think of that professional pursuit, let’s recognoze it is EXTREMELY hard to succeed in that arena, to be the best, and to do so consistently over a long period of time. How did he do it? Are there lessons you can use fat your business or worklife? Well, Ray wrote it all out in a 600 page book called Principles. But, here is a link to his 30min video series that captures the main points. Whadayathink- how bout you and I trade 30 mins of tv time and invest it on learning how this man succeeded at such a grand scale.... . https://www.principles.com/principles-for-success/
How should people turn jobs into careers? If you are currently employed, what are you doing to make sure that you have a 'bigger job' next year (either more money, more responsibility, different responsibility or whatever else your goals are).
In general, I am really interested in what other Jobcasers have to say about this - so I don't want to bias with my thoughts up front. But I will say that the first step is identifying what it is you want. If you don't articulate the goal to yourself then how will you get it?? This is a time in labor markets where you need to be your own Agent and take charge of your own career. Don't wait for someone in a corner office to chart your career path for you - you need to do it yourself.
That said - what do you think? How do you think about getting ahead - and what does that even mean for you anyways? #promotion #achievement #raise #ambition #success

People are always talking, thinking about it, wishing for it desperately. In my 10 years of work I've learned that what others and the media usually deem as succes, is superficial, it comes and goes. And it might not even be relevant to you. Your feeling/sensation of success depends on you acquiring what you truly need. Which is often less/different from what we think we need or want. And it is usually never what others tell you to achieve. That being said, feeling of success must not be success in itself. But at this point in my life and career, I'm happy with it.
I literally visit dozens of company websites looking for hiring opportunities to share with Jobcasers everyday so based on this experience I can honestly say the United Healthcare Group has the most informative and comprehensive career websites I’ve seen to date.
The UnitedHealth Group recruiters have carefully outlined everything career minded job seekers need to know to apply, interview and get hired.
At Jobcase, we understand how the online job searching process can get frustrating and monotonous especially after an extended period of time submitting online applications with no success so I decided to extract and list the top 3 instructions you need to follow in order to experience more successful hiring experience. Here are the Top 3 Application Steps:
1 - Search, go to the UnitedHealth Group career page and use the job search features to find the list of current employment opportunities available in your area. If you don’t find the job(s) you’re looking for then follow the job alert instructions in order to receive an email alert message when a job opportunity becomes available.
2 - Apply, this step is Essential! Carefully review all the job details and qualification requirements to make sure the job meets your previous career experience, skills and career goals. Complete and submit your online application and employment assessment.
3 - Follow-Up, use the Username and Password you created to begin your application to log into your personal application portal where you can check the status of your application and correspond with the recruiters evaluating your hiring process.
That’s it! It’s really that simple. Take a few moments while you’re on the companies employment website to read up on the company benefits, employee perks and culture.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions along your application process. Thanks & Good Luck! Click Here to Start your UHG Application Process
