🎉 Goofy, Fun-Loving Pro with a Passion for Positivity! 🤣

Hello, wonderful Jobcase community! 🌟I'm a 33-year-old, energetic, and slightly goofy Caucasian male from Boise, Idaho, eagerly seeking remote or in-person job opportunities that allow me to bring my unique blend of fun and professionalism to the table. 🎭As a strict professional, I take my work seriously and excel in customer service and sales with a focus on delivering outstanding results. But wait, there's more! I also have a playful side that loves to make people laugh and brighten everyone's day. 🤩When it comes to potential career paths, I'm exploring massage therapy or occupational therapy, both of which excite me tremendously. Additionally, I wouldn't mind managing a storage unit, where I can organize things while cracking a few jokes along the way. 😄Let's not forget my other passions! When I'm not busy being a goofball, I'm all about music, finance, parenting, and leadership. These interests make me a well-rounded individual, ready to tackle any challenge with a smile. 🎶💰👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👨‍💼Oh, and did I mention my love for Nutella? 🍫 It's a quirky fact about me that never fails to bring a smile to my face and maybe even inspire some Nutella-themed jokes! 😉So, if you're searching for a dedicated professional who can also create a positive and fun-filled work atmosphere, I'm your guy! Let's connect and explore how my skills, enthusiasm, and penchant for laughter can add value to your team. 🚀 ##GoofyAndProfessional #FunLovingPro #JobSeeker #CustomerService #SalesPro #MassageTherapy #OccupationalTherapy #StorageUnitManager #PositiveVibesOnly #BringingJoyToWork #PassionateAboutNutella 🎉🤪 #jobsearch #interview #advice #motivation #termination

I am a mom of 2 little boys. I reside in New Jersey. I have many years of case management experience with an AS degree in Human Service and currently a returning student majoring in Nursing. I am looking for a permanent remote full time job. I currently work as a contract Disaster Case Manager. Relying on a contract job is not for me. I have a family to feed, school to pay, and to top it off going through a separation. I am such an educated individual with a passion to grow in a company. If there is anyone out their willing to interview me I would greatly appreciate it. I am looking for $28+ per hr with room for growth.

I’ll be working on my list of positive sentence starters this week and would love to read others’ whether for the company they work for or themselves.

Communication Expectations in the Business World

Waiting for a response to an email can be frustrating.

Opinions vary on greatly about the proper response time for business emails – some believe most emails should be answered within an hour, others by the end of the business day and some feel 48 hours is acceptable – including people who intentionally wait two business days to reply.

I believe emails should be handled by the end of the day – even if just to say, “I’m looking into this and will get back with you soon”, sooner if it’s a customer support role.

Waiting can make people feel undervalued as a customer, co-worker, employee – that can’t be good for business.

How long do you patiently wait before sending a follow up email? Most experts suggest three to four days, change up the subject line and body a little, reword your question, add a call to action, with your deadline if that applies.

What if you totally forgot to answer an email? Sometimes things slip through the cracks, when you realize you dropped the ball pick it up, send off an email apologizing and hopefully answering any questions asked – if so long has past that answers are moot, just let the other party know you are sorry for the delay.

Why do you want a remote job?

A common question companies ask during interviews -

I have several reasons, I can't drive any longer, I have to care for my disabled husband (was mom and mother-in-law, our kids and grandkids), I don't like the way offices "feel", I want to eat, drink, and vape while I work (in comfortable clothes)....the list goes on....

My official answer?

Over the years I have set-up the perfect secure workspace where I am not distracted, always available with everything I need within my reach. I have found I am far more productive working from my office.

Then I go on to detail my setup and give concrete examples/situations when remote was the best option.

Truth is companies don't care about childcare or personal life - they want to know what you can offer them. I had a manager say it best, "What have you done for me lately?"

What are your official reasons for wanting to work virtually?

@Laura Thebodeau Hello Laura, I’ve worked from home over the past few years and I’ve learned that I produce my best work when I’m at home. I’m more focused, my productivity is hire and I do love that I don’t have to spend as much money on gas or wear and tear on my vehicle. I also like the idea of being able to live around freely in my state without having to feel as if I’m bound to anyone area.

Dedicated Business Professional

@Laura Thebodeau Personally, remote work allows for a more integrated approach to work and personal life. It enables me to attend to personal responsibilities and pursue my interests without feeling overwhelmed. This integration is particularly beneficial for maintaining a healthy work-life balance and nurturing relationships with my parents whom I look after.

While remote work comes with its challenges, such as communication and collaboration hurdles, I believe that the advantages far outweigh the drawbacks. The flexibility, increased productivity, and various other benefits of remote work make it an ideal choice for me in pursuit of a balanced work experience.
