Name one thing that you did not see him do while working this job. With the equipment he used.

  • Can you name it?

Thought of the Day:

  • For teenagers/adults who enjoy the outdoors and like to cut grass, this is a great startup job. Promoting your Service Here is a great way of doing it.....

Just think of the possibility

🙄let's do the math: 15 houses at $200 a house = $3,000 for and 8 to 16 hours a day. Let's say I only do 7 houses at $200 a house that would be $1,400 for 8 to 16 hours a day🤔

Thinking of starting a lawn service? If you are thinking of starting a lawn care business, then these lawn care business tips will probably help you, enjoy!

Lawn cutting is a service needed throughout the country. Dependability, fair prices, and good work are the keys to making this business a success. Offering to fertilize lawns and trim bushes will provide you with additional income.

Tips:

  • Always exceed your customer's expectations. Always remember that the customer is taking a risk by hiring a new guy to start a business so they don't know what you're capable of, so impress the heck out of them by double cutting the grass if you have to and make sure that you edge their sidewalk and driveway as crispy as possible to impress your new customer.

  • Tell everyone that you're starting a lawn care service and that you're open for business

  • Always be reliable. Your lawn mowing customers expect you to mow their lawn when you tell them that you will so even if it rains make sure that you communicate with your customers if you have any delays.

  • Try to put your lawn care customers on a mowing schedule, whether weekly mowings or bi-weekly lawn mowings. I personally don't like the ten days schedule which messes up your schedule if you have any rain delays

  • Don't overextend yourself by taking on too many lawn care customers, leave room for weather delays.

WFH Tip: What are the qualifications to become a notary public?

A notary public is an officer appointed by the Secretary of State to attest to the authenticity of a person's signature, administer oaths, and witness acknowledgments. An officer commissioned by the Secretary of State to serve as an unbiased and impartial witness on business, public, and other documents. The most common function of the notary is to prevent fraud by attesting to the identity of a person signing a document.

To meet the qualifications of a Notary Public (NSA), the applicant must meet all the following:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be a resident or maintain a place of business in your state; be a U.S. citizen or possess proof of legal presence
  • Be a resident of the county in which you request the appointment (if you don't reside in the state, you must maintain a principal place of business in the county in you request the appointment)
  • Read and write in the English language
  • Be free of any felony convictions within the past 10 years (if previously convicted of a felony, the 10-year period includes completion of the sentence for that crime, any term of imprisonment, parole, or probation, and payment of all fines, costs, and assessments)
  • Haven't been convicted of 2 or more misdemeanor offenses involving a violation of the State Notary Public Act within a 12-month period while commissioned, or 3 or more misdemeanor offenses involving a violation of this Act within a 5-year period regardless of being commissioned
  • Have filed with the appropriate county clerk a proper surety bond in the amount of $10,000 and taken the oath of office as prescribed by the State Constitution (State's licensed attorneys are exempt)
  • Sign a declaration that all information on your application for Notary Public Commission is correct, that you have read the State's Notary Public Act, and that you will perform all notarial acts faithfully
  • Aren't currently serving a term of imprisonment in any state, county, or federal correctional facility; if so, you are prohibited from being appointed or acting as a notary public

Michigan's Notary Acts (for example): (see your local SOS)

Michigan's Law on Notarial Acts (MiLONA), P.A. 238 of 2003, as amended, is an act to provide for the qualification, appointment, and regulation of Notaries Public (Notaries) by the Secretary of State. As such, a Notary is a public servant. www.michigan.gov/sos/resources/notary-services

Check with your Secretary of State about becoming a Notary and starting a Remote Online Notarization Business/Service 😉 The average notary salary is...

Here's an example: Field Inspector's These are the individuals who verify information about the business. You will be sent to a location in order to verify that they are a valid business. You may also be required to look at their business license, talk to the manager, or take photos of the office and location. most field inspectors don't need any previous qualifications but may need to go through a background check. training is often done briefly and over the phone.

  • The large majority of field service inspectors learn on the job. All inspection forms are provided to you by the tasking firm - so there is nothing you have to create. Most firms provide a training package with guidance, practices, and procedures for completing inspection tasks.

Most inspections will require you to have a high-speed internet connection and a digital camera with time and date stamp capability. You'll also need a reliable vehicle. If you are doing a mobile Notary or loan signing then you most likely already have two of these things.

A typical business verification inspection will often pay $18 to $40 and only take you about 10-15 minutes, turning this into something you can easily do while driving between appointments for your Notary business.

Stop thinking like an employee and develop a "business mindset"

"There's no business like your own business."

Make a business decision that will break new ground!

✔ Make sure you select your State.

W@H Tip: Choose your work fortress

At this moment, set in motion the work-from-home (WFH) policy. A designated area in your house will replace your typical office. This way, you will be more concentrated to work there and hopefully won’t be disturbed. This means that even if you don’t have an office, it’s a good idea to use a specific space to practice your work rituals and follow your typical office routine as much as possible.
