I was receiving a reference that I did not agree with. After filing a grievance with HR the director of HR told me to put them as a reference and that it would based on the evidence provided. How would I explain this to employers? #reference

I have been working for almost 20 years, and the one thing that has been a constant from that first job as a Cashier at Bruegger’s Bagels to now, is the request for job references. In my experience, 9/10 if an application asks for a reference or two, and you are one of the top candidates for the job that potential employer will make the calls. This is why I have always made it a case to do my job well, but also build good rapport with team members and supervisors. These are some of the best people that can help vouch for you, which is why having references is so important.

Wanna know how to identify and ask people to be your references?

Im going through divorce and had to get back in the working field but one thing for sure is I also needed help financially as i was getting back on my feet. I always worked in sales so i started where i left off as a affiliate marketer and marketing researcher. One thing i come across often is refferal payouts that alot of these companies i promote offer. So keep an eye out for my post. Any free cpupons or codes or referral links that can put money in your pocket i will be more then happy to share. I know going in between jobs or looking for a job can hurt the pocket book so hopefully what i post will help. Good luck to you all!!

Does anyone know what HR reference questions can be asked when a company calls a past employer? I am making it all the way to the final interview and then getting a denial letter! I honestly feel like the company that laid me off is sabotaging me! The company was one of the worst companies I have ever heard of and should of known not to leave my job of almost 7 years for a company that has the worst reviews I have ever seen!

I was wrongfully terminated however I fought so I settled to take Discontinue retirement. They will not change my reference then I would not qualify for the Discontinue retirement. I am an excellent employee, I know that but this reference is painting a bad picture. I have not been terminated before and now have this in my employment history. I need a job.

I wish I can find the time later to ask for favors. I hope you get this praise without be hurt, be harmed, and not in a dangerous situation. God bless us all.
