I've just about completed the onboarding for a job with the IRS as a level 4 Clerk. However, I currently have a job working for Sykes as a remote customer service representative. I'm in my 3rd week of training. I scheduled my credentials appointment for the IRS for my ID and fingerprints. Im just about finished all the onboarding for the IRS, but they say to not quit your current job until you receive a final offer letter. I feel confident that I'm going to get the IRS job. It's the job I really wanted. I have invested a lot of time and energy into the current job throughout the training, but I really don't want to invest anymore of my time if The IRS is a sure thing. Does anybody have any experience working for the IRS? They say the hiring process for the IRS is 4 to 6 weeks. I really want to quit my current job because the training is a lot of work. Please advise! #grateful #working #2jobs #advice #suggestions
After 8 long months and all my savings down to nothing, I was offered a great position with a wonderful company where my experience will be of help to them. I am 56 years old so I just had to find the company that didn’t see that as a negative. I am very thankful to all of you. Your stories have helped me to feel not so alone in this plight. I appreciate all of you!
Hello everyone, This is my first time on this site, mainly due to the other sites that are similar to this one being used in the wrong way, and I would like to show my appreciation to every post I have seen so far. There is great info, insight, and helpful strategies and comments being passed on to one another. With all I've seen, I am confident that this issue I am having will guide me around this 8-ball I've been trapped behind for some time now. I will explain as soon as I am done with a current situation that I am having right now. It was just all my heart to let everyone know that I commend all of you and appreciate the amount of positivity being passed on. I know I'm kind of making giving a small encouraging word to others a big deal, but throughout my life I have rarely seen people help just to help. Usually, personal gain and "now you owe me" is hiding somewhere behind the false smiles and fake words of "I want to help". I will be posting my situation later. I do want to thank you all for taking the time to read all this. Sorry for the length. You all have a wonderful afternoon.
Thank you jobcase staff for all your support through my heartship. I'm currently Hired, thank the Lord. I'm able to pay for my mom's cancer medicine for now...$1200/biweekly infusions are expensive...God bless you all...
