Sometimes skills become obsolete.

Every job requires some skill, training, knowledge, then experience joins in the game. Continuing to grow and learn is so important to move up in a career.

In high school, I took classes in typing, bookkeeping, and shorthand – Along with drafting, electronics, and woodshop. Some of those things learned have been key in my career path – others (shorthand) NOBODY uses - my adult offspring have no clue what it is.
