I'm an Electrician by trade..got away for a few yrs. I'm 50 yrs. old but still very healthy & mobile. Want to get back in & I'm afraid of the responses I get. Worked mostly cmrcl.construction, [email protected] college, factory.I'm ready to do something pertaining to it.
Been out of work for about a year, would like a good steady income. I would really enjoy being back in a mill or production environment. I live in Phenix City (Ladonia), can travel into Columbus, GA and even Opelika, AL prefer to be close to home due to Vehicle expenses, gas, ins. etc.
I lives inBaltimore MD 21225. Repuire employment in Maryland
I use to work in Silicon Valley as a Electronic Technician I was working at Lockheed as a Tester and now looking for work in this area Mendocino County there are hardly no electronic jobs in this area although there are some in Sonoma County (Santa Rosa area) I would appreciate any help at all or even suggestions. I'm old school so I was troubleshooting down to component level, do don't think there do that any more.
It good and there is competition among coworkers and the environment is friendly.
What do you do when your secondary vocation becomes your greater passion in life, but you can't support yourself in it. I've been a Electrician by day and Musician by night. Those of us who live in that crazy world know what type of commitment and lifestyle that comes with the musical world. Often their is not enough income to justify the change. In this time of my life I have had vocation #2 abilities significantly increase. Voc #1 however pays the bills. Has anyone else experienced this?
