Hello everyone I'm 22 years old and just like everyone here I'm looking for a job. I recieved training in plumbing repairing, installing, and fixing i have received multiple certificates a few are OSHA which is health and safety, waterheater installer, and intalling waterlines. But unfortunately I live in a small location where their not a lot of companies and I don't have my plumbing license and little job history because I always worked odd jobs with little pay. But im a hard worker, self starter, fast learner, team player and always looking to improve myself. This is straight forward but if their a manager out there reading this and you want a worker that is loyal and have the will to give 100% everyday please just give me a chance.

One the hardest thing to do is finding a good job in a small location. It's jobs here but nobody wants to hire me unless you know the manager it's a uphill battle. I have training in plumbing but unfortunately their jobs like that here. Any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

So after 2 and a half years apprenticeship for plumbing my company laid me off due to lack of work. My dilema is I feel it had more to do with my gender as I was the only in field female working for the company and had the most seniority of all the other apprentices. Another thing that gets me is a week after my termination due to lack of business my company hired a new MAN in. Any advise guys i feel like this was gender discrimination or something any thoughts guys?
