I've been to quite a few interviews the past month and the golden question always comes up, do you have a reliable transportation. I always say yes. The interviewer sees me walk away. I don't drive because i don't have a car. In my head I'm thinking I have 4 ways to get to work: bus, uber/lyft/friends/family. The hiring managers seem to think having a car is the ONLY way to be reliable. I want to buy a car of course but I need an income. I can't get the income until I have a job. The Director of Talent leads all recruiting efforts for us, including the development and implementation of strategic talent acquisition tactics to attract the top most talent, foster culture and support business growth and operations.
Duties/Responsibilities · Leadership: Provides leadership to establish our employment brand and develops systematic approaches to communicate value proposition and a consistent business image in the eye of potential talent through job descriptions, employment advertisements, career sites, recruitment events and social media platforms. · Drives continuous improvement, identifies opportunities and implements processes to increase our recruiting effectiveness and efficiency while also ensuring the delivery of our operational standards. Additionally, oversees compliance of all internal, external and state and federal regulations concerning the recruitment and selection process and stays up to date regarding industry trends. · Strategy/Tactics: Leads the development and execution of comprehensive recruiting strategies to guarantee that we attract and hire the topmost talent in the industry.
