Would you wear all Black on a interview?

🤔 Reports from Who What Wear says Black is a high power color, save it for high power interviews. Because the color black can come off as powerful, it's an ideal color for top jobs and management. But is not great if you're applying for something in customer service, retail, or anything entry level. What are your thoughts ◼️?

Tipping at Starbucks?

According to an article in CNBC news, a new system at Starbucks prompts you to tip when you are making a purchase online, in-person or in drive-thru. This has received a mixed response from customers and employees. Some customers find it annoying with one saying “"I'm really not trying to be rude bc I know customer service jobs are hard work but now they want tips at the drive-thru at my Starbucks when you pay with a card… you’re literally just handing it to me…" Employees also had mixed feelings. Some say this has not affected the overall tips they make. While others are very happy to get more tips now.

How do you feel about this? As an employee or as a customer? Would you tip in drive-thru?

Remote Work-From-Home: Independent Contractor

Goodbye, long commutes, rigid schedules, and busybody managers.

Hello, Liveops

  • As an agent with Liveops, you are a self-employed independent contractor, not an employee. If you decide to contract with Liveops, they connect you with opportunities that fit your unique combination of skills and availability.

Website | About the company | Career Opprotunities

Location: Liveops is currently accepting applications in the following states: AK, AL, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WV, WY

Type: US-Remote

Knowledge base: As a self-employed 1099 Independent Contractor Agent providing virtual call center services to Liveops’ clients, you will be responsible for your own tax obligations. Actual earnings may vary depending on client opportunity and support required. Independent Contractors are responsible for expenses and control their profit and loss.

As a self-employed independent contractor, you are in control of how much time you devote to your business, how you operate your business, and the amount of profit or loss you derive. Since you are self-employed, you should not represent to anyone that you are an employee of Liveops or any of Liveops’ clients. This includes listing Liveops as your “employer” on loan applications, government forms, or requests for employee-type benefits.

Tip: As a Liveops Independent Contractor Agent, you have flexibility, autonomy, and freedom to choose when and where to provide services.
