Why do I need a degree if I already have experience? The cost of a college education keeps skyrocketing into the stratosphere but the education system continues to allow institutions like IIT to defraud students for years before being outed. The hype around a college education is just propaganda for big business. A degree is rarely needed to do good work! https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/grade-point/wp/2016/09/06/itt-technical-institutes-shut-down-after-50-years-in-operations/
I am having a hard time finding a job and I can see that over 100 hiring manager or employers have looked at my resume but no one has called. I am not sure what is wrong is it that I am changing my career to obtain work in the field of my Masters Degree? I have been working in healthcare as a phlebotomist for sometime and now that I'm unemployed I wanted to change career goals and seek work in other fields. What should I do when revisiting my resume, should I lie or is it just no one wants to give me the opportunity?
Anyone know of any free or cheap forklift training programs I can take online or in the city? I know how to drive a forklift but my boss say’s he can’t put me on a vehicle full time unless I get certified. The job comes with a pay increase so I want to get that cert as soon as possible. Please hit me up with some training info if you can. Thanks
I’ve paid HUNDREDS of dollars for tests, training and certifications. I’ve set up a blog. I feel like I’ve gone on 50 different interviews at gyms and studios for group exercise and personal training jobs, and always have been told NO. How the heck am I supposed to start building my business if no one will give me the opportunity? And I REFUSE to hear anything about shakes or wraps… because that’s NOT why I chose this industry.
