This morning I went to a job fair after getting a phone call from a recruiter to go attend the job fair which stated on the job post $13hr forklift position starting which I sent a resume an applied for an when getting to the job fair the recruiter' s there representing the same company.those recruiters at the job fair told me a whole different pay scale an position from which I was there for even after telling them at the door who sent me an what position I was there for they tell me I have to work production before going to forklift which the pay is $8hr I never heard of such in my work career I didn't even know companies still pay so low these days I never made single digits I felt so insulted very confuse of how could companies lead people on and waste there time with false accusations
I decided to put my job search on hold until after the holidays and started looking around for job openings and hiring opportunities happening in January. I noticed a lot of job fair listings in and around my area. I’ve heard mixed reviews about finding job at these events so I’m a little bit skeptical and hesitant over investing too much time and effort preparing to go to one of these if it’s not going to get me the results I need. How can identify the best job fairs to attend and what can I do to help me prepare and make enough of an impression to get hired?
i just went to the event and was told i all ready did my drug and quary check that came back good and was told good to go just wait for the invite and that is today why was i told when i got there that i did not need to be there, wasn't i there to be hired and do the assesment ect please exsplane

Hello all, I have read a lot of the posting, and please, never give up, for the situation will not get better if you give up. Also a lot of helpful advice has been posted, so try to apply that helpful advice, but don't ever give up.
Note: One thing I noticed that helps a lot is to go to your local back to work programs and allow them to help you. These programs have employee partners who specifically hire people from those programs. Please also know a since of humility must be present to possibly land a job. Sometimes we may have to take a step back, that we may go forward. God bless you all in Jesus name. PLEASE , NEVER GIVE UP!!! I will keep you all in prayer, that your faith may remain strong throughout your job search. PLEASE, NEVER GIVE UP!!!
