Not Hired?

A few weeks ago I had a job interview. On the spot they gave me an offer letter to sign. She told me she would call me the following following week for a start day. She called me the following Friday and said for me to come in 9am November the 9th. Saturday the 6th my daughter had a wrestling tournament and I believe that is where I picked up Covid-19. I tested positive the 7th. I called them the 8th and noone was available to speak to me and was told I'd get a call back. I didn't hear anything and called them again Tuesday the 8th. They claim noone hired me, noone told me to come in and are refusing to accept the offer letter to be real. I'm at a total loss as I needed this job like alot of people right now. Was it COVID-19 that spooked them? I'm negative now and no longer sick. I'm just quite frankly pissed and now at square one again. Been applying and have not heard anything as of yet. #interview #jobsearch #management #advice

To land a job at #Heitmiller I would make sure to...

Not start working there. It was awful the staff is rude and mean to their employees. They make you pay back money that you shouldn't have to. Olivia literally pushed me and nothing happened about it. She went on to threaten me and she is a real life bully. This is an awful toxic place to work! I DO NOT RECOMMEND WORKING THERE EVER! #management

I am very interested in working for CMHA housing grounds keeper and janitorial positions but can’t get through to sign up. I’ve worked for them as a kid for years and I worked for them through the C.EO. Program.

I thank you for your time and hard work #management #jobsearch

Got fired for not like supervisor

So I was working at a company called petdine and my supervisor didn't like me because I guess I didn't kiss ass lol. So the other day he dl told me to do something and I told him I would after I got dinner doing what I was doing. Then later he asked me to clean and mop. Don't get me wrong I did it I did give my 2 cents because I'm production I make 19 an hour sanitation makes 21 to 22 an hour and all they do is supposed to be cleaning why am I doing their job making less money when our job building is not that big. They have 3 people. Then the other part was I was joking with a coworker on brake and every one found it funny she even tho them it was a joke. But about 5 min after that I get called in and told your are being let go. I asked for a reason got told I don't need to give you one even tho Colorado law dose say I'm supposed to get a written notice of why. And then walked out of the company. Any one every been fired for not getting along with a supervisor. #termination # # #management #advice

Laid Off Procedure?

Today I was laid off. I'm curious what the law is or if there even is one? My manager was the only one in the meeting. I've never need laid off with no one representing HR or another manager. Second they didn't have termination papers or my severance package outlined for me? Wondering is this proper or is this something I can do something about? Seemed very unprofessional. #advice #management #termination

I'm a little late to the party. First off, sorry to hear you got laid off. I don't think I can offer anything other than echoing the unemployment recommendations. Maybe check with the local unemployment office then use that as a cushion while you figure out your near future.

Best wishes.

Unfortunately, there is no law against being unprofessional. What has been the company’s practice, what does the policy say regarding lay-offs? Highly unusual but not necessarily illegal.

What made me stay at #Wagener Manufacturing was

I loved my job and what they had me doing even though it was a lot to learn and I started out sewing clothes and then I started packaging them up for shipment but I also picked them out of boxes before shipping them out, but basically I just love what I was doing and the people that I worked with I love them also because they helped me out and helped me figure the job out and how I was going to make and I did. #jobsearch #management #aboutmyjob
