When you’re interviewing- research them!

I have a client who I personally coach. She has been looking to make career changes and found a job conducive for balance with her family life and working from home. Another recruiter got back to her for another position she had applied for before getting this job. Being the job starts in November she figured it wouldn’t hurt to have an option in the event this position would be a better fit. After the interview she felt this position would be much better but after she sought out reviews, she quickly changed her mind. After filtering out the fake reviews of how great the company was, one comment made up her mind this company is not as great as it was. Which leads me to believe, not only do your research on the company, recruiters don’t care much about the well being of your happiness to find a job that works for you. Do your research always!!!!

Just broke highschooler without a car and everyone that's hiring won't answer. Help I guess?

So I have had to apply to at least 15 jobs now. I had to apply jobs walking distance because I have no car, bus nor train isn't an option because I'm broke and my parents work a lot. I try calling jobs over and over and they say they'll call me back and don't. I'm getting a bit discouraged, any advice? #advice #jobsearch #application # # #management

@Jay Jackson there's a ton of great advice already here from the Jobcase community! It's super helpful to read through all of this and I agree with so much. I would just say to keep being persistent in the search. It looks like you have the work ethic and the drive to find the job, maybe just tweak the approach a bit but keep up the effort. Maybe there are other types of jobs out there that you're not thinking of at the moment, maybe even ways to make money working remotely. I would definitely recommend stoping by (in a very professional way) to some of the places to check in and see if there's any updates and moving forward, maybe trying to apply onsite with them if that's an option. Hope you get a great job soon, best of luck!

What are my rights?

My employer called for a meeting with me and invited my union rep. She gave me no details as to what this meeting is about. I’m scared that i’m going to be fired. Any advice or information about my rights would be greatly appreciated. #advice #termination #management #jobsearch #interview #termination

Well, if you didn't do anything wrong, you have nothing to be afraid of. They might be wanting to speak with you about another employee or an opportunity. Be positive! If you think you might have done something wrong, think about any recent forms you have filled out or conversations you have had with your manager. Union workers cannot be fired for no reason or without being written up.

How should I go about this ?

I got into a altercation with my supervisor/illegal immigrant at work. I was terminated and taken to jail because of it. The immigrant I got into a altercation with had one of his legal friends file a warrant on me. Happened at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta Georgia. One of the biggest projects we have done. This is my first ever incident and this is his 3rd or 4th he was not fired. This is only 1 of my problems I have more information and more problems than this #advice #termination #managemen #management

Injection molding

Had an interview for 9:00 at Atco or whatever name that was I got there early 10 minutes had my resume no one was in the building found out they had no idea what I was talking about when I called them the next day they did not have me on their list they did not know what I was even talking about so I have yet to go to a different interview with anybody because I'm really not believing what's going on with job stackers because I don't see anything on their worth going for or wasting my time I've been with the same people for 12 years if that's not a good enough reference for anybody tough I don't think I will ever use job stackers to find a job I think I will just go find a job myself so far it has been nothing but a joke

Supervisor jobs

In my experiences of becoming a Supervisor where I have worked, I started at entry level positions and learned everything about it and started gaining trust from my Supervisors where they would be giving me more responsibility and I asked alot of questions. When I felt ready I applied for the position and got it each time. The staff tend to respect you because you know what they are dealing with in their position because I started there. I continued to always show them support and help them when they needed it and we had a good team that way #management
