I currently receive disability benefits for SSDI. I also had a part time job that made ends meet, that I have lost back in April due to the covid-19 movement. I worked as a housecleaner and babysitter since November of last year. Can I file unemployment for my lost wages? I didn't earn enough to file taxes last year. So my fiance just claimed me as a dependant, which in turn kept me from receiving the first stimulus check. I am really struggling and need assistance. Any advice? #unemployment #benefits #coronavirus #eligibility #help #GEORGIA

The Home Depot Opening Three New Distribution Centers in Georgia!

The Home Depot today announced that it will open three new distribution centers in Georgia over the next 18 months to support the growing demand for flexible delivery and pick-up options for Pro and DIY customers. The expansion is projected to bring approximately 1,000 additional jobs to the Atlanta area, including full-time and part-time positions.

“Retail has changed more in the past four years than in our company’s 40-year history. Customers expect to shop whenever, wherever and however they want – whether they’re buying a hammer or a pallet of pavers,” - Stephanie Smith, Senior Vice President of Supply Chain

New Distribution Centers include:

  • Locust Grove
  • Stonecrest
  • East Point

The Home Depot has created more than 5,000 new jobs in Georgia over the last five years through the opening of various distribution centers and office locations for technology, e-commerce, marketing and customer service.

PUA ASSISTANCE

I live in Atlanta GA. Does anyone know if you still are able to receive the PUA if you are back working. I don’t make no where near 40 hours, barely 20 hours a week. And does anyone have a number to contact unemployment?
