Remember your own value, confidence will get you another position with people who see your worth! Corporations have their own agendas and you are not their priority. Don’t let them take your self-worth.

Life has challenges, we all could learn from. We all have to embrace the moment. Every circumstance is different and unique in it's on way. Take ownership of it and prosper no matter what you have to accomplish along the way. If we find it to be very important we will find a way!

wrongful termination

I was recently fired but work in Oregon state that is at will employment. Upon my termination, which was done electronically through texts, the employer states that they have my hours from the current pay period already processed and the final paycheck is ready. He then states that on May 3 2024, my remaining sick pay (like PTO, but not exactly) and an additional 2 weeks severance will be sent to me. I provided my current mailing address and commented on the frugality of this situation and my termination in general. The employer then responded saying I was ungrateful and that he wasn't going to pay me. Being that the text messages have him agreeing payment on a given date because he didn't like my response isn't he still obligated for the payment because it's a contract? There's definitely more to this and could easily contain multiple questions needing answered...for example, discrimination harassment abuse and toxic work environment. #termination #discrimination #protectedclass #advice

BUILDING YOUR CONFIDENCE LEVEL! [IBYC]

Always remember this point...

Building your confidence level to reach next levels of expectations, can be found in your daily habits.

Ordinary people, do extraordinary things, even if it's on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or YouTube. They don't stop until they win.

STEP 1. They form a durable mindset called: A Positive Attitude

  1. ATTITUDE: Is the art of thinking or demontrating feelings about someone or something, including yourself to invoke a can-do-attitude.

Key: If you think about something, then be about something and get things done.

It's best to discuss the situation with your employer directly to clarify any miscommunication and address your concerns regarding the situation. If needed, you can also seek guidance from HR or a union representative if applicable. In the future, ensure clear communication channels with your employer to avoid any misunderstandings. Also, utilize platforms like Jobcase to explore potential job opportunities that align better with your needs and values.

@Sean Prendiville Hello Sean, I highly encourage you to speak with your employer about this. Since your girlfriend was the only one contacted you could argue it doesn’t apply to you but once again I highly encourage you to discuss this with your employer.

If your employer requires you to use your personal phone for work-related purposes, they may be required to reimburse you for a portion of your phone bill. It's recommended to first discuss with your employer to address the situation. If they refuse to compensate you, you may want to seek guidance from an employment lawyer or your local labor department. #compensation #employmentlaw
