How do I find a job abroad if I live in Turkey? I have been unemployed since I graduated from university. During this time, I constantly looked for remote jobs. But unfortunately, I could not get any results from this either. I do not know what to do.

Currently, Jobcase only has US job opportunities in the job search , so I'm not sure that's helpful for you in Turkey at present, but stay tuned... I noticed that you mention no experience on your post. You might want to look at the Getting Hired Resource Center regardless - there's lots of articles and practical tips for kicking off your search that might help.

Am I hiding who I am at work? Studies show that 61% of American employees feel that they are hiding a part of themselves or their identities at work. You may feel you can’t share an aspect of yourself in a work context, or you feel that you’re having to hide your hidden value because of your job. This is a definite sign that you’re not in the right place with your career.

What do people tell me I’m good at? Feedback from others is one of the most valuable ways to find clarity. Comparing your own strength to the things that others have praised about your work will help you see clearly where your core skills lie. If your current job feels misaligned with these skills, it’s a good time to think about moving on. What do I know that I wish I didn’t know? This is one of the hardest questions to ask and to answer. Maybe deep down you know that you’re in the wrong career, but you’ve invested so much time that you are afraid to change. Or perhaps you know that you’ll never be valued by your current manager. These tough truths will shine a light on what needs to change in your career. Studies show that 30% of Americans view their job as just a way to get by. This is certainly no way to build toward a meaningful and fulfilling career. If that sounds like you, I think that both You and I would agree that it’s time to dig in and ask yourself the tough questions. Why not start thinking about and see if you are ready for a new career? #careerchange

Hi @Angelina Elliott , what new industries have you been exploring? Where do you see yourself working, (be specific)?

Ok, like-minded folks, anyone know of a well-rooted company, in the otr, tractor trailer/distribution industry, that will train those of us seeking CDL-A knowledge?? Getting paid whilst we are being trained would be ,the absolute 'bee's knees' in my new direction.... I've got backgrounds in, Landscaping/Lawn care, 20+years, cultured marble & granite (fabrication & installation)10+years, Fencing products, & installation, 6+years, maintenance technician4+years, heavy equipment operator/maintenance etc,, seeking a "not so manual labor intensive "position....... 👍✌

Looking for a job that pays close to $30 an hour.

Had a job for close to 29+ years. Then bad investments, managers who have no clue about the business (releasing people), and a bad economy. The job I did was a hybrid of different jobs. Now I struggle to fit in one or another job field. Plus everybody is paying low to start out because of the economy. #jobsearch #ageism #careerchange #technology #laidoff #customerservice #sales #interviews

To anyone willing to read: I have recently started the job search process and I find it to be slightly rewarding. Having not done this for 20+ years having to reflect on past accomplishments and failures I see it as an opportunity to see where the real growth is. I have changed so much as an individual. Completing all of these resumes and cover letters has helped me see it. I hope you all are able to find the positive during what some consider to be a stressful event.

The hardest part about my job right now is... #CsaEquipment

There’s no ac in our trucks! The workers and I have complained over the years about getting this issue fixed but no one has done anything about it. I even called the labor board and they told me it’s up to the company to fix this issue but nothing has been done! 🤬 The last tome I worked there it was so hot in my truck I ended up going home because I felt like I was about to pass out! Sad to say but that’s one of the main reasons I hardly work over there! I know the company has the money to do it. They preach about safety but i can’t tell, This is how they treat us at #CsaEquipment #advice #careerchange
