3 THINGS TO NEVER FORFEIT! No. 1. Your Happiness. [IBYC]
I'm telling you the truth...Read This Now!
Don't become a prisoner of your past events. Let those things go smartly.
SITUATION: Many times we are crying from old things we did in the past. Such as...
- We unintentionally hurt a few people.
- We unecessarily boasted from pride.
- We made unsolicited statements.
- We instigated undeserving feedback.
- We displayed unwarranted dislikes.
Success doesn't come from past actions, rather present reactions to current events.
COSTLY: Don't, ever, ever "forfeit your happiness" in life because you can't get it back.
I Believe You Can...!

Innovative Work Calendar Idea? - I'd really appreciate your opinion👍
.
I’m setting up a business and I came up with this new work calendar idea.
As we all know, the typical work week is 5 days out of 7, Monday through Friday 9 am- 5pm.
In the goal of improving work/personal life balance some folks came up with the idea of a 4 day working week but with extended working hours. I personally do not see much advantage in this solution: I feel its too much work time packed in fewer days and I feel I would actually need that extra free day just to recover from the extra effort put in those 4 days.
I know my solution would generate some alignment issues with other businesses but I have no problem with it. Here it goes:
The month would be divided into 3 blocks of 10 days. Goodbye 4 weeks per month pattern. See Chart Below
I think this structure allows us to spread out more rest time and achieve true work/personal life balance.
The total days worked in a month amount to 19 vs 20 in the traditional schedule. This means 152 working hours vs 160. I would nonetheless pay for 160 hrs. Employees would only win. But so would the business; my bet is that a more relaxed schedule will increase general well-being and thus productivity.
Imagine you were offered to work in a company with such a schedule:
A) Do you think you would prefer this solution over the traditional 5 days a week schedule?
B) Do you think you would have a better work/life balance with this structure than the fixed 4 straight work days proposal?
Thanks very much for any feedback👍

DON'T ABANDON YOUR DREAM! [IBYC]
Something you should know...(Must Read.)
Many things can sidetrack you in life and cause you to abandon your dream.
Don't let this happen to you
Jenny emerged from a low economic background in the Burroughs of the Bronx. She shared a bedroom with her two sisters; held a part-time job as a secretary; and slept in the studio's dance office when necessary.
Yes, she had a tough beginning, however, she didn't give-up the dream. She dealt with challenges until results came to life.
Today, she is better known around the world as... J. Lo., or Jennifer Lopez, the Actress, Author, Entertainer, Executive Producer, Mentor and Model, and Icon just to mention a few.
5 - Learning TIPS I Learned:
- You Must Pursue.
- You Must Release.
- You Must Establish.
- You Must Represent.
- You Must Commit.
Remember, don't abandon your dream, little do you know it's on the way.

If You Ever Worked as a Recruiter, You Do NOT Want to Answer This Question ⛔
.
Or - Are you willing to admit it?
Did you ever hire someone due to her/his looks and or personality in spite of not being the best candidate?
I admit it.... I hired a young woman who killed me with her beauty and way of speaking. She did have a great profile for the role but thing is she was the 4th application I read out of 30-something.. Prefering skills testing, I rarely interview but on that round, I selected her as the first and only interview for that job. I was crazy about her from the first minute and didnt even look at any other applications.
Howwwwever….. ,and before anyone puts me in the pillory and throws their digital tomatoes at me, I vigorously plead NOT GUILTY of any Moral Wrongdoing due to being exposed to Extenuating Circumstances!!
She was a Parisian woman and like many Parisians, she had her eyelids half closed ( if you’ve ever been to Paris, you may have probably noticed this crazy thing) and spoke with a very thick French accent in English… It was like a spell on me** Thats gotta be worth a Pardon on the moral front right?😉😎
Objectively, I know it was truly nasty but I’m super happy I did it because its been 18 years we have been together😋
I had other situations where the candidate was super outgoing and we synched in awesomely but I was able to resist and seek the best fitting profile.
Someone else messed up like me? Or rather, do you dare tell your mess-ups as a recruiter ?😉
Ever feel one candidate is slightly better than another one but because somehow you synched better with the other candidate you chose that person?
C'est la vie les amis..

UNKNOWINGLY, YOU'RE BEING GUIDED IN LIFE! [IBYC]
!Must Read To Succeed!
TRU-LYFE STORY: Everyone on your team, doesn't mean they are really for your team. Even though they're wearing the same uniform.
I was on a team with a group of people who were trying to prune my potentials with deep pains.
Yes, I am a high performer; I mind my own business; I don't compete with others, I just get things done.
In pain, I looked upward and asked for unwavering guidance and NOT grievance against certain individuals. Then, I released anxieties of my hands...
I learned that certain factors are coming to fruition next week. That's a fact!
Lessons Learned: When someone is working against you, (it is hurtful) but just look upward, ask for what you need, then release it out of your hands.
Amazingly, you'll recognize that favorable things coming your way!
You're being guided for your best.

WHEN YOU TRULY BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! [IBYC]
Don't ever forget this message...
When you truly believe in yourself many aspects slowly turnaround at work in your favor.
"Your work is going to fill a large part of other people's lives, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great in your eyes first."
"If you haven't found it yet, keep looking because it's only meant for your purpose, not for someone else's."
"So, don't settle for mediocre in life, that's wasn't meant for you."
"Remember, it's your gift is what can open doors of opportunities for you, that you never seen coming.
Just believe in yourself and everything else gradually falls-in-place.

10,000+ RESUMES, DON'T BE SCAMMED! [IBYC]
I'm telling you the truth..
Without any guess work involved, I probably receive more job offers and announcements than the Top 10 people in the industry.
I analyze more HD electronic information and data elements that beats the naked eye.
Sometimes you have to use a "microscope and laser beam graphic design" to identify false solicitations versus true requisitions.
If you want to avoid sending 40 - 45 resumes in exchange for an uncertain job offer, you have to analyze the details beforehand.
If not, you're repeating the same delinquent processes without positive any positive effects.
