Workers with Autism/Aspergers

We need a group for people like us with Autism, the entire spectrum. I have noticed how many of us have a extremely hard time getting work and even harder to get decent work. Then keeping that work. Not just me. See it all over the place. All a lot of us get regardless of our talents or skills are low wage labor jobs. Even if we have talents and skills and an education.

I think that #MinistryofHealthandHi-TechMedicallaboratory should continue to

Paitient/client interactions are my number one moments. Providing satisfying services to them (e.g.) getting back their laboratory results on time helping my depress PLHIV or homosexual paitents to access their health-care without discrimination or any form of abuse ( verbal ect)

One of My Great Friend(s)

was going thru a major issue. Her un-employment was denied, so she is going thru the appeal process, which takes time. a few weeks ago, she was down to finance fumes, so she started a go fund me (which is a last resort), and put herself, and her financial issues out for the world to see. I contributed, eventhough I am in that same situation, but beiing able to help my GREAT Friend made ME Feel GOOD . She did get some help, which allowed her to pay her rent for the month of July. What a Blessing!!!! Today 7.10.17, she was offered a JOB which she accepted.. I Tell You... The power of Prayer, and being Humble Gets the reward. DON"T GIVE UP ... Blessings.... Your Breakthrough is COMING!!!

We're all in this together, so just be NICE!

Happy Tuesday Jobcasers! I hope your weeks are off to great starts filled with interviews, or starting the dream jobs you’ve landed.

I wanted to take a moment and address something that has really been bugging me lately... It’s the amount of negativity within our community that can often translate to bullying. Yes, we sometimes think our fellow members are whining, or they’re not trying hard enough, or they have a situation way less severe than yours. And you think to yourself "how could their issues possibly be any worse than mine?". But that’s the wrong attitude and I want to remind you of something.. Just because you or I might not understand someone else’s plight or struggle, doesn’t make it any less real, painful or stressful. We all feel things differently because (and here is where the beauty of Jobcase comes through) we are all DIFFERENT!

There are going to be times when you'll see a fellow member has posted on a topic that you may not necessarily agree with. And your immediate gut reaction is to post exactly what's on your mind, in that exact moment, which will most likely result in a response that is full of every emotion you're feeling (frustration, anger, etc.) in that moment. Instead, hit your internal pause button and take the time to answer in a thoughtful way that is devoid of negative thoughts and emotions. This was you can post a response that offers feedback or advice in a positive tone that is coming from a good place, and often constructive.

Jobcase was built as an avenue to build each other up while giving honest and CONSTRUCTIVE feedback… Jobcase was not built to break each other down. We're see far too much of this breaking down lately, and it’s got to stop. As I said above, we are ALL in this together and we need each other.

Lastly.. As the bible and the golden rule both say in one form or another.. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. Let’s keep that in mind here when we’re responding to posts or posting our own.

I’d love to hear your thoughts..

Some Things I Have Noticed in the Jobcase Postings

Good Morning, Jobcase Community!

I know this is stating the obvious, but I have notice some disturbing trends in the conversation postings, especially on postings from people who are asking for advice or assistance (Spiritual, legal, and business) on various issues. There are a great deal of members who are very encouraging and understanding of other people's plights and ongoing battles. However, there are those who take the asinine, vicious methods of "providing advice".

To clarify what I mean by "asinine, vicious methods", I am speaking of Jobcase members who criticize and mock other members for not finding employment after an extended amount of time or assuming they are dumb, incompetent and uneducated because of a few misspelled words and grammar errors. There have even been some who have gone as far as to post messages stating that some members have trouble finding work or were fired because "they got what they deserved" or "God was punishing them for being lazy and 'gaming' the system".

Moreover, for those members (Not saying all of them behave/interact this way) who are better off and have great things going on in their lives (so it seems on the surface)- They tend to bring down those who are still struggling or have given up due to long-term unemployment, ongoing personal battles, or having a string of horrible luck. They have also belittle some members' issues to the point of making them feel insignificant and self-conscious. I do not understand why this is going on, but it gives me the impression that these types of members have no heart for those suffering from misfortune.... And it truly perturbs me.

Unfortunately, we are living in truly troublesome times. Jobcase is a venue for those who are seeking professional advice on acing interviews, having the best resume in the universe (Well, we can all dream. Right?), and networking with other professionals to see what other opportunities await in the horizon. Everyone has to deal with enough BS in life and there may be topics that prefer not to discuss with loved ones or there are possibilities that there are experts on this website that can give effective advice on matters. I am not saying that everyone must be nice to each other, give everyone a multi-colored sucker and do hop-scotches over the rainbow. Nor am I saying that everyone is an entitled, arrogant a__hole that should jump in a ditch and stay there. All of us should be made aware that just because there are those who are struggling does not mean it will never happen to you or me. One minute, everything's super. But, the next minute can be hell on earth just like that.

To get to the matter, we should be a tad more respectful of our peers and be mindful of what is/will be posted to a person's query. Most of all.... We should adopt a mindset of building up those who are torn down. Anyone of us can be someone's cornerstone to keep the foundation stable and secure. Most of all, as an online community, we should make it a point to give more praise and jubilation to all successes, regardless if they are small or big.

Enough of the long-winded podium talk from me. May 2019 be the year of new geneses for those wanting a fresh start and improving all avenues in life. Have a good evening.
