THANKS TO EVERYONE AT JOBCASE. FOR HELPING ME KEEP MY HEAD TO THE SKY...I DONT KNOW WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE.
Yesterday, I went for an interview. If any one knows NYC, I LIVE IN THE BRONX..by the Bronx zoo.. And the interview was on 86th and Madison...it was for 2pm.. I left my house at 11.30am. just to make sure I got there on time..i had to walk the distance for I have no money. first I stopped at the church and asked to blessed enough to endure the challenge I had before me... long story short, I misjudged the time. by the time I got to 125th street it was 2pm. and the interview was at 86th and Madison. I thought to myself.. what would Jesus do. my feet never stopped moving.. I got there by 3pm.. afraid I would be turned down..i apologized for being late and explained my situation to the manager. he was moved and interviewed me anyway...I GOT HIRED!!!!!. And on another note, a worker heard my story and as I was leaving he passed me $5 and said take the train home and welcome to the team..i asked him why..he said he was once in my shoes and knows how it feels. and that I made it. better late than never. once again I'd like to thank all of you here at jobcase for helping me keep my sanity...
Sending a thank you out to everyone that posts there challenges on a daily basis it makes my search alot more like a task that has meaning than a hardship at times . aLLLTHE BEST LUCK TO MY FELLOW JOB CASIES !
After being out of the workforce for 2 years, I'm finding it hard to get back in. I have heard time and time again "thank you for interviewing with our firm, unfortunately..." I hate these Dear John letters. I am however very grateful for my Faith, my family, and for these reminders from Job case because they give me hope.
Having an opportunity to work with Job case. com and being interviewed one day and being THANKFUL for receiving the job the next day. Just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year! Starting off with a great company & Recruiter for Job case.com
Happy Thanksgiving Day to ALL My Job case Family. I'm glad that we ALL have a place to come to & share Our Thoughts & Prayers. It's NICE to know we can all help each other even though we don't know each other. We ALL live in different places but seem to share the same situations so with that we can share & help others through tough times. As I ALWAYS say just Keep Your Heads Up & Stay Positive ! We will get through this. Enjoy The Thanksgiving Holiday with Your Family & Friends. God Bless You To Everyone :)
Praise GOD! I landed a job with benefits that start day one, received a higher title and a raise before I even start this upcoming Wednesday.
I know this job was created just for me. Thank the Lord because I had been on tons of interviews that didn't pan out or was just a joke.
Thanks community for posting, encouraging one another and critiquing where necessary to ensure our skills are upto date to compete in the job market.
