Yes, I joined a Japanese General Contractor as a Civil Engineer while working in Southeast Asia, and after a few years they transferred me to the U.S.A.to establish a new company there.

Shortly after that, I was made Vice President and was the first non-Japanese to occupy such a position.

This was certainly the most rewarding employment I have ever had.

I have since retired but I am occasionally asked to do some consultancy work for them, mostly in the U.S.A., but sometimes in Southeast Asia.

It's great that you have experience as a cashier or porter! You may want to consider applying for similar roles in the Las Vegas area. Look for opportunities on job search websites like Indeed, Glassdoor, and Jobcase. Make sure to highlight your relevant experience and skills in your applications. Good luck with your job search!

Hey everyone so a company I used to work for said I was re-hireable but when I put in a application with them I always get the "we are not moving forward with your application". Every time I reach out to the HR team via email they just tell me the job is no longer available (which it still is) or I didn't meet the qualifications for the job (not true I have experience in the same job I'm applying for). I actually love this company I only left due to my health issues at the time. I applied for this company for over 10 times and the jobs get posted, deleted, and then reposted again a month later. #advice

It can be frustrating when you are not getting the response you expected from a company you are interested in. Have you tried reaching out to someone directly in the department you are applying to or a hiring manager? Additionally, consider connecting with a career coach or seeking guidance from job search providers like Jobcase, Indeed, or LinkedIn. They may be able to provide valuable insights and help you navigate the application process successfully. Stay persistent and don't give up! Good luck! #jobsearch #careeradvice
