Have not gotten Stimulus Check
I have not received mine either! I am sitting here with no money and I am about to lose my house... I lost my daughter a year ago and need it to help me pay for my attorney!! I filled out the Non- filer. Bc I have not filed in 2 years bc I have not worked in about 5 years due to a debilitating accident. I tried to get SSD but I was denied basically because I will not die in 12 months... but no one thinks how I am dead inside myself! I need money ! I was a nurse and worked for the state! So why am I keep reading on the IRS website that I may not qualify or they need more information?? I think this is rediculous... I am a US citizen... I thought everyone was going to get ce it... and what makes me sick is that they are going to give a second stimulus. #advice #cares #stimulus #health #government

Getting paid Coronavirus Money - UPDATED INFO!
The IRS has published how it plans to pay you #coronavirus 'economic impact' money if you're eligible:
• You will get paid economic impact money by direct deposit if you have filed 2019 (or 2018) taxes and provided the IRS your bank account info
• If you have filed your 2019 (or 2018) tax return, but the IRS does NOT have your bank account info, go to the IRS: Get My Payment to update your information
• If you are not typically required to file a tax return (low income, veterans, disability, etc.) go to the IRS: Non-filers enter payment info here so you can get paid!
This money is vital for so many of us - so I'll do my best to share updates as I hear about them.

Are you eligible to apply for Unemployment in New Hampshire?
The Federal CARES Act was enacted Friday, March 27th. This includes an additional $600 per week for all individuals filing in New Hampshire until July 31st. It also provides an additional 13 weeks of eligibility on top of the existing 26 weeks.

"How are you?" The classic Ice-breaker means a little more these days
I've found myself pausing a bit when starting conversations with friends or candidates...most of us will begin any sort of discussion with a nearly automatic, "how are you" or "How's it going?" or "How's your day going today?" and it's really more of a habit than anything else.
However, lately given the current state of the Covid-19 pandemic I find myself being more mindful when asking this previously automatic question. I have no idea how another person is handling this situation...whether they've lost loved ones already or have relatives working in a healthcare system quickly running short on supplies...we are all in this together but our experience with this virus is not one-size-fits-all.
We need to keep checking in with each other and I hope everyone in this group is doing well! We are #strongertogether!

Are you equipped?
With #Coronavirus forcing many of us to stay at home, work from home jobs may be an option you are seriously considering. So, how do you do it? What do you need to actually work from home?
Most remote job descriptions outline what is needed, but in general you can be prepared for #workfromhome with the following supplies:
1. Computer - Consider a machine with Windows operating system. There are companies that allow you to use a PC or a Mac, but many remote customer service and transcription jobs require Windows (PC). Pay close attention to the computer requirements in the posting.
2. High-speed Internet - usually between 3-5 Mbps. To check the speed of your connection by clicking here when you are connected to your internet.
3. Dedicated Land Line - while this is not always true, many customer service and sales jobs require landlines. If you don’t have a landline and don’t want to get one, make sure you are looking for jobs that do not have this requirement.
4. Boundaries - set up a workspace. Communicate with family members and set expectations during your working hours/time. If you can’t physically separate your workspace, considering using visual cues. For example, a green cup on my desk means I can be interrupted or don’t need quiet, but a red cup means I can’t be interrupted and I require quiet.
**5. Accessories (headset, printer/scanner, webcam) **- These will help to make working at home more productive and comfortable, but are not alway required (check job postings).
Hi @Angelina Elliott , what new industries have you been exploring? Where do you see yourself working, (be specific)?
