“During the pandemic, my beloved company was forced to initiate a workforce reduction. I volunteered to retire after 23 years as a professional flight attendant, operations/performance manager, and ticketing agent. Prior to working in aviation, I was employed as an assistant account manager and claims manager for two commercial insurance agencies. I have learned so much from those experiences.
Being an active person, wanting to stay fit and supplement my income, I decided to return to the workforce. Currently, I’m keeping active as a package handler and enjoying working with a great team.” - Diane Koretha Earl, Valued Community Member and Jobcaser of the Week

The key is just to be a good person and not be a follower of trends just to fit in with the crowd because the crowd usually is not thinking smart. Go back to the good old principles of knowing what the company wants and knowing what you have to offer and how to present yourself as the only good choice for that company. Know your assets and be confident in them… Remember to keep the faith and put in some sincere effort to secure the job that you really want.”

Sauntia Cotman, connect and follow Sauntia here - Want to know how you can qualify for a Customer Service hiring opportunity? Sautina has some Awesome tips and strategies designed to help you get hired!
“Any job with customers including fast food would solidify you as an experienced customer service representative, however, if you don't have any prior experience with customers on another job you've worked you can always draw up a functional resume which highlights your skills instead of your experience. Many companies look for you to have at least one year of experience if you're not doing an entry-level position. Also, apply for ENTRY level customer service jobs which will have a high level of training and not expect you to know everything when you're joining the company.”
