Loyal Store Manager with 9+years of leadership & management experience

As a former hiring manager, my suggestion would be to be completely honest and up front about it. No details need to be given unless you are asked though. Also, calling a day or 2 after to thank the manager for taking time to interview you and how excited you are to work with them. Talk like you already have a start date. Be confident. Start your interview with your strengths and then your background issues and end with experience to end the "tell me about yourself" question with positive vibes. Do not make excuses or explain if you are not asked be confident.

Hope this will help you.

Good afternoon Kaylisia, Just keep applying and pray on it. Also, leave it in God’s hands. ( The truth shall set you free. )

Just be 100 % honest. No one is perfect, but honesty can go a long way.

Hey @Kaylisia Smith , the work history on your profile looks really impressive. Are you concerned about a recent incident on your background? Or maybe a credit issue? I think your skills and experience should make you a top candidate for a lot of great US employers as long as there's nothing serious coming up on your background check. Is there a specific issue you're concerned about?
