A good customer service skill is always listening to the customers needs and remembering the customer is always right. Be engaged with the customer, there not a number they're human just like you. Also have a good smile because your tone will say a lot about you.

In addition, remember not to take anything a customer says in anger personally. They are just venting. Don't interrupt when they are venting, just take good notes and when it is the right time, empathize and tell them, "This is what I heard you say that the issue(s) is/are and let's get this taken care of!"
