Affective communication

Yes

Well it's very tiring but if you love to cook you can just run right through it you have to know how to cook learn your residents and what they eat and what they like learn there diet good customer service skills and if you don't know something or forget something don't be afraid to ask for help that only if you work in a nursing home and follow rules and clean up behind yourself and help others as a team that's call teamwork

Just commitment and patience it's all you need

I don't call myself a cook im a chef you have to be tough skinned in some places but not all that stuff you see on t.v. to me thats the improper way to teach all that yelling and screaming nobody can learn like that try to pick up everything you can while your working with a chef or a few chefs

You need to listen first and foremost. Restaurant turnover rate is extremely high and countless dollars and hours are wasted training the wrong people. I have cooked for 20+ years and I learn something new almost daily. Ask questions. I would rather ask 15 times than just try it and ruin a dish. Food is expensive and can be dangerous if not handled and prepared correctly. LEARN THE MENU. Study it and remember it. Keep your cool. Kitchens are hot enough, don't let your temper add to it. When in doubt...work faster

Suppose to say food safety not good safety lol

Def good safety and ya of course customer service is key but I didn’t have any cook experience when I got my last job,u mainly have to show ur willing to learn

Knife skills
