I've been looking for a job for about three months now. I have at least 9 interviews with good employers. I received 4 offer letters if not a couple more than that. Pay range was average of $17.00 to $21.00. That's not the best but I'm starting over at this point and am willing to compromise. As someone once told me "I chose purpose of pay" and that's what I've decided to do. I am now employed. The key is just be a good person and not be a follower of trends just to fit in the crowd because the crowd usually is not thinking smart. Go back to the good old principles of knowing what the company wants and knowing what you have to offer and how to present yourself and the only good choice for that company. Know you assets and be confident in them. Have a good resume not perfect but accurate. It looks better actually if it doesn't look like a professional did it. Invest in you future and do it yourself. Getting help is ok but search examples and templates and configure it to you taste. Classical is always good. Remember keep the faith and put in some sincere effort to securing the job that you really want.

I actually had a really good person create my resume from a templet that I filled in. Once it written and give to me, I reworked it again to fit me a little more.
I really like your point about not following the crowd. Nice job!
