What do YOU think is the most important thing to do to land a job at Walmart?
I'm very dependable a very hard worker and always willing to learn more.I do take direction very well

You apply they call for interview if they want to hire they send you an invitation to work and when to show

Be honest

Being out going and having a sence of urgency will help you succeed within the company, be open to learning new things. Be a team player everyone sooner than later will need some kind of help from your coworkers so its not wise to burn bridges within the company. Remember walmarts values customers are your number one priority so never refuse to assist them while on the clock, when not on the clock finding someone to assist is great as you explain. Always take a name tag off / vest etc.. while not on clock will avoid confusion. Good luck. Ps continue to call they are always looking for new associates.

I talked to family I knew that worked there.. also going in and talking to the manager helps too.. that way they can look for your application and get u in quicker

you have to kiss their ass and keep calling them to show them you want the job but the job is terrible highly don’t reccoment !

When I first applied to Walmart, I believe experience and thoughtfulness helped portray my image.

I got a job at Walmart as a pharmacy technician through a friends referral who was also working there. That’s always going to be a default and your best bet. Good luck and hope that helps.
Apply on line, and if you don't here from them then call! We are always hiring! Be prepared to work either Saturday or Sunday that is mandatory. Apply to the store you are wanting to work at! Good luck! I've been with Walmart for 17 yrs., it's what you make of it. I for one LOVE my job! I have a lot of respect for the company and the things they do for the communities. I have worked in all kinds of areas, never bored!
