Found a seasonal job
I have been very aggressive in my job search lately and came across a seasonal job with UPS. I decided to file my disability since I was having so many issues so this should hold me down until that goes through. I'm not giving up my dream of opening Sober Living Houses, but I definitely have to put it on the back burner in order to provide for my loved ones.
Patrick Carter, You have a noble dream. I do have to ask, have you made any plans to make that dream into a reality? Do you have a Mission Statement in mind? Connected with other organizations with similar goals? May I suggest you start by connecting with organizations of similar agendas, such as Habitat for Humanity, Local chapters of AA, and other organizations and asking for advice on what would be a good place to start developing the goals, objectives, and how you might find funding for this organization you are dreaming of.

Thank you all for the kind words. In this day and age those are really hard to come by. My priorities are beginning to line up, but they definitely aren't straight yet. I have been trying to get like-minded friends who have been wanting to open something similar to get on board so we can get things going. I do plan on talking to the local chapter of NA/AA. I wouldn't call it as me being noble, I just feel like I've done plenty of damage in my community and now it's time to give back and make a difference
