Are you a Jobcaser of the Week ($100 award)? If not, maybe next week?

It can pay to help people in the Jobcase Community! Five Jobcasers are selected as the Jobcasers of the Week, and they are awarded $100 for:

1 - Providing helpful answers to questions by fellow Jobcasers

2 - Having a fully filled out profile, including a profile picture

Here are the Jobcasers of the Week!

Scott Dixon, connect with Scott here - Scott replied to a question about the duties needed to complete as a Cook.

“A line cook is very fast-paced, critical communication between the grill cook, flat-top cook, and the very stressful fry cook. Not to mention timing, not to cross-contaminate different kinds of food, being able to tolerate extreme heat for long periods of time, and it's extremely stressful. Especially on Sunday church crowds come in at the same time. That's when you know if you can hack it or not. Trust me!”

Trista Moore, connect with Trista here - Trista replied to a question about landing a Housekeeper job.

“It depends on if you're working for a company or privately. Speaking as an experienced housekeeper of both companies is stricter usually. Unless you find something that's under the table and then it's typically going to pay you between $2 to $5 per room. And privately speaking you do run into similar issues but your biggest issue is trust cuz most people are not trusting anymore. Also the location.”

Helen Price, connect with Helen here - Helen recently responded to a member question about the years of experience requirement needed to land a Vendor Worker job.

“To be a vendor worker you only need the motivation and determination to want to learn new thing’s quickly and under stressful conditions, trial and error but it’s rewarding but it’s not for someone looking for a normal position, use my link in my bio, try it out.”

Salvador Robles, connect with Salvador here - Salvador replied to a question about the job duties needed to complete as a Supervisor.

“It depends on what company you are a supervisor for. A store supervisor's responsibility is different than a warehouse Supervisor but one thing in common is that you will need to motivate your team, and train and coach them to be successful. Always listen to what your team has to say at meetings and look into any suggestions they give because after all, they are the ones doing the work day in and day out. Be humble and don't be afraid to get your hands dirty.”

Sandra Sertano, connect with Sandra here - Sandra replied to a question about what to bring up in an interview for a Cleaner job.

“That question is very vague because it depends on what type of cleaning you're doing if you're working for yourself or if you're working for a company it differs. I would just make sure if I'm working for a company that they're supplying the supplies. Do I have a paid lunch break? Do I have paid transportation? If I'm going to be using my vehicle? If I have to wear a uniform are they providing the uniform or are they compensating me for purchasing a uniform? Basic things like that.”

Congratulations to this week’s Jobcasers of the Week!

Ready to give up job searching?

Is the job search taking longer than you expected? Are you feeling discouraged because you’re not getting the kind of offers or feedback that you want or need?

Job search fatigue is real, and when you’re in the thick of an intense job hunt, the stress-induced daily grind of the “search, apply, eat, sleep, and repeat” routine can start to wear down even the most confident, highly skilled, and self-assured job seekers. Sound like a familiar experience?

Don’t let the weight of this stress discourage you to the point that you feel desperate or begin to doubt yourself.

Instead, find healthy ways to cope with your frustrations. Explore healthy behaviors and strategies that will boost your morale level and leave you more energized to continue your job search.
