Front Desk Associates needed to work in COVID 19 Testing Sites/Facilities throughout New York City.
Interested candidates must have a minimum of 1 year previous and recent front desk medical/health care experience in a fast paced doctor’s office, hospital, or clinic.
Previous experience or familiarity with Epic EMR software a plus but not required. HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Meet & Greet Patients
- Enter patient demographic information into the system
- Verify insurance information
- Update patient information • Review and scan documents, including insurance information
- Ensure accurate entry of insurance information to facilitate successful reimbursement from insurance companies
- Contact patients if needed for verification or to share information
- Coordinate with providers, nurses, techs, and other staff to resolve problems
- Provide timely, routine reporting on patient flow and volume as required
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This gym does NOT offer any commission when you collect money, get members to sign up for memberships, or do more to make the members happy and comfortable, let alone pay you more for any CPR/AED certifications that other gums do. They make the "No Commission" to be a big selling point so that new members think they aren't being pushed into any membership but they just make money from the employees that are pushed to sell memberships, book tours and Crunch one kickoffs, or the employee gets ridiculed for not making enough sales. Even when asked about the extra money other gyms pay to have CPR certified people, at Crunch they tell you the personal trainers are already certified, so basically telling you the certification you have isn't important, although the personal trainers always come and go and are NOT always in the building, like those that work the front desk. In short, the members are the best part of this place, so if you are looking to meet nice people and not make money, I suggest you work here but not take the GM as seriously as he takes himself because he does not appreciate anyone, especially women.. at lest at the Tom's River location.
I was tricked in my interview. I was told I was getting interviewed to do Massage Therapy. I ended up getting hired for front desk, which it's okay because I do have experience. But as I worked there, I realized how immature everyone was. How unsympathetic the Doctor really is. I was shocked. I had an anxiety attack and literally had to leave the work place. Never happend to me in my life. Lesson learned.
Hello today I started a job and i am a temp to Hire employyed by Pridestaff and today I started at a company takinh Calls and filling out a message sheet and or transfering to a Rep. And today got told I will be doing 2 jobs from 8-2pm i will be doing the Recieving Calls and 2pm-5pm I will do Front Desk.
