My life sucks.

Sallie Mae is double garnishing me now. They have two arms coming at me. So now working at my par time minimum wage job. I am being garnished 30 percent of my income. Thanks to my inability to get anything better. I am even poorer now.

Tell me again why college was worth it? That is even with me having a MBA and BFA in animation. College is a scam. It is not worth it. All it gave me is low wage work. Made me even more unemployable then I was before college.

This debt has effected my mental health to no end. Of course they don’t care about my issues. They don’t care if they garnish all my wages. These ass***s are the worst. You know what? You can thank the US government. This would not happen in the private sector.

You people wonder why I am depressed all the time. I can’t a job that pays more then minimum wage and is full time and I am being garnished to the hilt.

I have every right to be depressed. No work, no money, no life

Salary that breaks down to below minimum wage.

I would love to work at a particular charter school. The salary offered ia little over 17k/yr. broken down, that would result in less than my state's min wage. How is that legal?

IT career and school

#veterans #informationtechnology #School #careerchange #IT

Good day everyone. I am rapidly relocating due to my father-in-law's decline in health and I am freaking out a tad because this means I may be jobless for quite sometime. I am relocating to Shreveport, Louisiana where IT jobs seem to be about "who you know". A little background: I just separated from the Air Force almost 2 years ago, with 9 years of Desktop support and 1 year of System Administration. The move has been granted because my husband is Active Duty and has received orders to do so.

Ok, now my question is, If I were to go to school full time to receive my degree, would that harm me in the future with getting back into the IT job world? I figured it would considering how quick technology updates and improves. Any advice would be great, thank you.

MSSU

MSSU is not a good school at all. They are nothing but a junior college on steroids. They pushed for University status when another local college achieved that status. They make you take classes you're not supposed to take. The professors are horrible. My Spanish teacher the first day said hello in English then nothing but Spanish from then on. It is cheap to go there but you get what you pay for.

College is a scam part 2.

Will now I make below minimum wage. Thanks to my student loans. College is a scam that keeps giving. Guess what? Thanks to all this college crap I can't even get a decent paying job. All I get a low wage work.
