This is really directed towards Human Resources personnel or the actual people interviewing for a department/position. After an interview that seemingly went well (maybe an hour long interview) what is the protocol for following up? Do applicants send an email, call the interviewer or what is suggested? As an applicant, it would be nice to receive something saying the position has been filled, or if you are atill interviewing applicants. A call is not necessary, but a standard letter from HR would suffice. It's discouraging to continue to see the job posted and no response. #humanresources #interview #followup #application #hiringprocess

I usually send a Thank You email after all my interviews, within 24 hrs after. then if I haven't heard back within 2 weeks I send another email to inquire about the status of my application. If nothing, I just move on. Some places reach out with rejections others don't.

I think it depends on the size and capacity of the companies you apply to. Some companies even outsource their hiring process to outside agencies. Responsibilities: •Daily review of Associate timekeeping and coding of hours. •Modify and correct timecard as necessary and create payroll adjustments •Update and maintain the HRIS to include electronic personnel files, profiles, and personnel change status •Respond to associate inquiries regarding payroll and / or benefits •Oversee petty cash and the distribution of checks •Maintain accurate and up-to-date new hire documents, files, records, and documentation •Handle the clerical/administration function within the HR department •Maintain high degree of integrity and confidentiality •Performs other duties as assigned •This is an onsite position. •We have 3 openings and the shifts available are Sun, Mon, Tues, Weds from 6:30a.m. - 5p.m. or Weds, Thur, Fri, Sat from 9:30a.m. - 8p.m. or Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs from 4p.m. - 2:30a.m.

Requirements: •1-2 years of high-volume customer service or office-related work experience •Demonstrated ability to perform mathematic functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) •Attention to detail •Experience with Payroll in an HR Department preferred •Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication •Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle complex situations with professionalism •Ability to multitask and work effectively in rapidly changing environment •Strong PC skills a must •Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Hi All, there is a SCAM going around for Mölnlycke Health Care. The scammers are using Google Hangouts to interview you, then send you a check for software and equipment to work from home. They use the legitimate company from Sweden URL, website; https://www.molnlycke.com/ One scammer is using [email protected] Mr. Martin Lexa -Mölnlycke Health Care Executive VP, Human Resources & Corporate communications. That is not real. The head of their HR has assured me this is a scam. Do not deposit any checks sent by fed ex from this company. Okay so here is what I have. I recently resigned from my job yesterday. The policy for our PTO being paid out to employees after they resign is 90 days after you start, then you have to work until the first of the following month which would have been March 1st. But here is the problem, I was misinformed by HR that our policy is only just 90 days after your start date. So I resigned thinking I would get my PTO but they won’t take accountability for it. They have the phone call recorded and still won’t honor my PTO. What can or should I do moving forward with this issue?
