🌆📅 Los Angeles Job Fairs and Events September 2025 💼🌇
Summer’s almost gone… but the job market is actually picking up as fall approaches! We’ve heard overblown claims about low unemployment all year, but I have personally noticed that companies seem to be in the midst of a hiring trend.
I like to advocate for job fairs and workshops because it is too easy to get lost in the shuffle of crowded online application channels. Online job searches can be further hindered by AI, scams, and other institutional gatekeepers. Hiring events allow for candidates to stand out and speak for themselves to people who can actually hire them—sometimes on the spot!
As usual, I’ve perused Eventbrite, the CA Employment and Development Department, UCLA, and the LA Urban League for job fairs and events to share with fellow Angeleno Jobcasers. I found 5 promising listings in the LA area so far, starting September 2nd!
For Jobcasers outside of LA, be sure to check Eventbrite as well as your state and local employment resources for listings near you!
1. Career Center Orientation: Culver City, Tuesday, September 2, 8:30am
2. Back in Action Job Fair: LATTC Tuesday, September 9, 10:00am
3. UCLA Employment Info Session : Wednesday, September 10, 10:00am
4. LA Urban League Career Fair: Saturday, September 20, 10:00am
5. LA Job Fair: Thursday, September 25, 11:30am
Bear in mind that some of these events require pre-registration! And don't forget your RESUME!
Feel free to add other job fair tips in the comments! Good luck out there, fellow Jobcasers!
