My general manager has become verbally aggressive towards me and I'm afraid to go back into work but I've been put on the new schedule for next week! What should I do? I'm so intimidated. # #advice #management #helpme

I caught Melingitis right after I spoke to my manager and got things ironed out with him. They've been nothing but awesome from that day forward. Blessings to all of you! #waitress #ihop

I've been through that..mine was worse she was the owner and my manager. Life is too short if you have someone above her or HR you should report her even though things will probably be a lot more awkward. Being verbally aggressive towards you is just not acceptable. I wish you luck.

Hi. I was an Administrative Assistant for years, prior to having children and opening my own large, Nationally Accredited childcare facility. Where I did everything. Continued education and training, created forms, contracts, assessments, billing, AR/AP, taxes, payroll, etc. There is a lot to the business side of it. After 11 years, I closed down when we moved for my husband’s job and became a stay at home mom. My grandmas health required me to move back. I need to go back to earning an income and will work 40-60 hours/week if need be. I just need to find something that I can do from home on my own time, as I still have to run kids to and fro, and I am my gmas POA, and have to occasionally handle some of her business. But there are several hours between these things that I could be working on something. I like to be busy, I am articulate, OCD about spelling and grammar, I like things to be in their place and organized. Do you guys have any suggestions for what I should be looking for? I would love to do proof reading, data entry, or work on something with a deadline, like having the week (at any hours) to complete a project. I would even like to do transcription, however I can only type about 35 wpm. Most jobs I’m seeing ask for 40-60. I am a workhorse. I am always working on things around the house or for my gma. I’m competitive. I take pride in doing things well. I love to learn about new things. I’m best with hands on experience. If you show me something once, I’ll get it and then learn to do it better than you! Except for typing fast. Lol! Thank you in advance for your suggestions. #jobsearch #workfromhome # #advice #helpme

When I tried to file unemployment last year I just forgot about it when it said "if you was employed before this time" because at that time I was currently on best rest due to complications in my pregnancy. I also have to file as self employed. I was a caregiver for my grandfather and my aunt that were suffering from cancer. They both have passed away now. And I was doing my house cleaning business, which covid put a stop too. TIA #benefits #advice #covid #eligibility #tennesseeresident #helpme

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, @Tara Spurrier . Our thoughts are with you and your family. Here is some information about [what to expect from unemployment this year-(https://www.jobcase.com/articles/what-to-expect-from-unemployment-in-2021), it goes into some detail about PUA which is the program that covers self-employed workers. Thanks!

I'm just going to start out with this. I'm young, I'm 14 years old, and that is always a job blocker, and some people see me only as an ignorant kid, but I am worthy, I work up to anyone's expectations and I can prove myself, but I need a chance. I have applied for many jobs already and haven't gotten 1. I'm starting high school and I'm trying to save up for my college so my parents wouldn't have to suffer with their debt with their other 4 kids. I will even work for something as easy as stocking shelves, I just need a chance #helpme #petstores #stock shelves #clean #chance
