On 10/20 I was terminated I was a supervisor for the company for 5 plus years the reason why the let me go the say that couple co workers came to them to say I was stealing from the company I asked them if the have any proof the say not at the monument never took anything from that company I work so hard for that position and to have that taken away heart broken I have a family a new born so lost don't know what to do never in my life I was accused of stealing
I got into a heated argument with a coworker last week that ended up in a fist fight. We started arguing in the parking lot after he cut me off to get a better parking spot before starting the shift. I'm usually a pretty level headed easy going guy so it takes a lot to wind me up but I was already having a bad day. I eventually managed to shrug it off, found another parking spot, and went into work. He just wouldn’t let it go and got more verbally offensive as the day went on so I finally told him we could step outside during lunch and figure it out. We met in the parking lot of a small strip mall in front of the company and had it out. I wouldn't even call it a fight because we ended up throwing more words around than actual fists. It was over as quick as it started and I went back to work but wasn’t allowed to punch back in. The manager told me I was suspended until further notice. That happened a few days ago but I still haven’t heard anything back the manager or HR dept. I've been with the same company for over 2 years and would hate to get fired for making such a stupid mistake. Can they fire me for fighting during my lunch time and off company property?
Are Millennials just whiny?
I have a coworker who is 25. I feel like she is always going on about wanting to make a difference and how this economy has just screwed everything up. I think she is bitter because she has a Master’s degree but is in a low-paying job like the rest of us. I keep telling her that things aren't instant and that it takes TIME to get where you want to go in life. She HAS a job so I don’t see what the problem is.
What do you think? Is she just being whiny?
I know what you mean, I hate going to those things, but like eating or drinking we must. What I used to do was show my face, play a few games and disappear, some of my coworkers would time it so they would come 30-45 minutes before it ended. No one could say anything they came.
I had a meeting with my superior and I was supposed to give some ideas for where I can lead my team to help meet company goals and I TOTALLY BLANKED. I'm thinking of sending an apology email to my superior and attaching this study (http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/why-walking-through-doorway-makes-you-forget/) -- does that ever happen to you? You walk into another room and completely forget what you were supposed to do? How do you recover? I think I looked like a total doofus!
HR BLOCK HATERS
I was hired for that company as a entry-level seasonal tax preparer. Afterwards each one talking about each one. The district manager whom is married I was told dating the coworker whom is also married and had dated the vendor before the district manager. Then the former managers and employees told me that they resign when that district manger came in to start something. Former to my working there the receptionist and a tax preparer had a physical fights in front of the office. They scold at the people and for them training was always reminding how long they have been working for that company and saying bunch of lies about you and degrading you. Getting acquainted with you no good filthy rich ex lover was the best one to gang up on me. That was the best party ever. The managers will scream of how much her affection will bring her to work without bathing so lets follow that policy, nah what a bummer because when it came to you then you stunk and still stinking. No one else. And no one really remember you until you got this job now all want to get into it and say what you can do and how much you should stay indigent and not have a job to make that much money, oh no that is not going to happen stay poor. Even better accusing you of scaring the customer and the clients when the clients were actually talking about another coworker and maybe the one that was also scolding me and other out in the worksite. So best scenario now you have this label of being endangering to you other so great with did it. But no one mention other than these bunch of lies of how they increase clients refund by fake schedule C's and efile with you ptin and helling you out the door for saying so and how imprudent and out of the rules to alter taxes and had nerves to send with my ptin. And out you go for saying so and without warning. So now the whole world should be scare of me no record that way some sort of motive, haters or retaliation. I owe 57k in student loans. Not knowing how you go from one semester to the other without passing the first semester. And hey how about owing and not getting a job because someone just one to be poor or your nasty ex-lover is out of morals and may own this crime.

Where’s the Trust?
My co-worker is being mistreated and purposely targeted for firing by our supervisor. There’s really no reason for the abuse because he’s a good worker and tries hard to keep to himself and just do his job. The shift supervisor has a personal vendetta against the poor guy because he’s a little odd looking and a foreigner. I overheard the supervisor on the phone the other day saying that he’s wants him out of the department by the end of the month. I want to step in and say something on my co-workers behalf but I’m afraid the hates going to turn on me too. Can a department like human resources be trusted with an anonymous complaint?
I just need to know if you work for a company that has and open door policy and you report disrespectful behavior to the upper management and then retaliation starts happening to you then you repot report report then they make up a lie and say you threatened the supervisor which is all lies and can't be proven because it never happened but you record them saying these things which now they have defamed and slandered your name and I know it is and at will company and they don't need a reason to get rid of you but isn't this cause for a lawyer to get involved
