School Bus Driver - General Purpose:
- Primary Responsibility is safely transport passengers in multiple types of vehicles, including those with manual and automatic transmissions.
Major Responsibilities:
- Drives a regular route, is a regular, spare or charter driver. * Safe operation of transportation vehicle.
- Read and understand street signs, route sheets and maps.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, including child checks.
- Assists students in the loading and unloading process, including wheelchair lift.

There is a need for winter seasonal workers to perform snow and ice removal and related maintenance, in addition to other winter operations duties as assigned.
Positions may be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Qualifications include a valid CDL, current DOT Physical, ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and a high school diploma or GED is preferred.
INDOT says winter seasonal positions will start no earlier than November 2 and will last through March 20, 2021.

Well it's work you get a job here you need a chauffeur's license then you get you have to go to the DMV take a learner's permit test get your CDL license and let me tell you at work can be hard on your brain I'm 58 years old and it was not easy for me. I got my license today passed my test for my CDL now come Monday I can go to DMV department of motor vehicles Secretary of State upgrade my license.

I no longer have a CDL, because of an injury and health problems, I started back in early 70's riding with my Uncle part time, every chance I got, I knew this what I wanted to be a professional truck driver, back then the truck drivers , were respected and they all worked together,help each other out
