The biggest misconception about remote work is that remote workers do not work as hard as a in-office workers. The fact is that a good worker works as well from home than from their office.

I prefer working with others more. Home is more distracting.

If you could give one piece of advice to your past self at the start of your career, what would it be?

The grass is not always greener. In the long term, it may be more worthwhile to stick with a good reliable job to show reliability on your resume.

And YES DAMNIT ITS OK TO CRY, but not I don't of your boss, right then you need to take what ever criticism they are throwing at you, smile say thanks for the input, turn around and run to the nearest bathroom, your car and cry there. Have you ever accepted a job you weren’t sure about? How did it turn out?

Personally, unless desperate, I wouldn't even apply for a job I was unsure about. Whatever the reason, matter's not. Professionalism is key which requires communication, honesty, etc. however, everyone is different & I guess maybe some folks need to step out of their comfort zone.

Absolutely we get distracted from outside work I'm a night owl so if I work during the day hrs I'm totally drawn to social media don't get me wrong there a lot of great advice and funny videos I could stay up till late night. What makes a workplace feel truly supportive to you?

Must have great communication, understanding, and respect for the worker's in order to keep supporting all worker's. If you don't have that, than you will not have any open communication, and everyone just do the work to receive a paycheck. That is all it means to them.
