The company is looking for experienced current students or graduates from a college of public health, medical science, college of nursing, or school of medicine.
In this support role, your goal is to locate patients of COVID-19 and persons with whom they have had contact. Investigation procedures involve contacting various information sources such as welfare agencies, neighbors, hospitals, work locations, restaurants, and bars. The investigator is primarily concerned with locating persons who should be examined for acute infection.
Primary Tasks of an Investigator Include:
- Interview patients to produce information regarding their contacts to COVID-19
- Educates and counsels patients regarding transmitted diseases and risk reduction.
- Locate identified persons who have COVID-19 or who have been in contact with infected individuals; direct these individuals to submit necessary laboratory specimens and such other essential control measures.
- Encourage persons who have been in contact with COVID-19 to have medical examinations and laboratory testing as applicable.
- Provides information and education on COVID-19 to phone inquiries.
- Conducts interviews with persons who are COVID-19 positive and assists them in informing their close contacts of their positive status, see more!
Job Requirements Include:
- Current student or graduate from a college of public health, medical science, college of nursing, or school of medicine
- Excellent interpersonal skills required and ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse individuals during a time of crisis and distress
- Proficiency with computers
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Ability to show empathy to distressed individuals in a time of crisis, see more!

HW Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced call center workers, telecommuters, and customer service specialists who can work from home making calls to people who are quarantined and to coordinate services needed by the COVID-19 positive cases and contacts of anyone diagnosed with COVID-19.
Social Support Connectors will directly support local health departments and the Department of Public Health to ensure the wellbeing of isolated and quarantined individuals and their families.
Primary Tasks Include:
- Coordinating grocery and prescription delivery
- Locating resources
- Managing referrals in the local area
- Maintain data in contact tracing software (CRM)
Job Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Some Call Center Customer Service experience preferred but not necessary
- Familiar with the local area and resources
- Ability to speak multiple languages desired but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computers
