Sometimes in these interviews, you have to sell yourself to these people you have to be how can I say be very encouraging know you’re worth and if you do have a résumé sometimes the résumé doesn’t speak for itself you speak for the résumé you explain to them how many years you’ve been with a company now if you have seven jobs on a résumé, that’s not good if you have three jobs on a résumé and you don’t have them within, let’s say a 10 year span and the last job you have is pretty good and you’re still there are you trying to move somewhere else then that’s a Rudy that’s showing that you can keep a job with keeping it for six months

Staying positive and taking steps forward until you get a job
I see a couple posts one was a dishwasher what experience you need. I believe being a dishwasher in a restaurant is probably one of the hardest jobs and a position that should get more recognition. Most restaurants need good dishwashers that will show up if you’re willing to learn a guarantee you any Restaurant will train someone knew that doesn’t have any bad habits they can mold you and teach you the right way of how the dish pit should be ran you can be a rockstar if you enjoy that kind of work. I also see people sounding like they’re stressed out. You have the ability to land a server of bartender job or a Chef position but I’m hearing there’s no work for your qualifications. There’s work in every town all over the United States. I’ve always been able to fall back and become a server if I have trouble finding a different path I wanna go down the money is always great but you have to remember getting a job as a full-time job. You don’t just put a couple applications in and wait for them to call tend to show up more than their own staff when I put an application in. I want the management or owner to see how much I want to work there how much I’m dedicated to come in every day even if they’re telling me no. I know what I can bring to the table so I continue to show up after my applications been put in to let every Restaurant that I’ve applied to know that I’m interested until I get hired into one of them. Someone will see your worth and hire you. Sometimes it may take longer than others as servers. We know when you walk into a restaurant you can tell if they like you’re not and whether you have the job you just have to sell yourself. Stay positive everyone. I believe we all have better days coming to us. The industry always needs positive employees on their floor to keep their guests happy and restaurants need strong servers that can work well with others so keep that smile on stay positive and don’t let any negativity. Bring you down. Good luck to all. Have a wonderful new year 2026.
