This holiday season, I created a holiday menu for my restaurant. The drinks sold extremely well, most of which were uniquely created and named by me and me alone. I was not given anything in terms of commission, pay increase, honestly not even a pat on the back for this. I am the “bar lead” for this restaurant. But creating an entire menu with items that sold extremely well seems out of my pay grade, especially when the restaurant is profiting off of my ideas, hard work, and creativity. Should I fight for some type of compensation or commission? #advice #foodservices #bartending

For anyone out there who has lost a job as a bartender, bar back, or bar server and is experiencing an emergency hardship, know that there is relief out there specifically for you. Though this is run through the United States Bartenders’ Guild National Charity Foundation, anyone can apply regardless of their membership status. It's a tough time to be in the service industry; hang in there and keep fighting, we'll all make it through together.

Im a 22 year old looking to reapply somewhere within Colorado springs for a customer service position. I have worked in the food industry for over 3 years and would either like to branch from that or try something different to fill my experience on my resume. I had to leave my last job due to being medically discharged for my health declining at work. overall affecting my performance. after a few months i have now regained the ability to work.

In the longrun i REALLY desire some sort of bartending job that would be either night shift or on call if needed. Im available for whatever shift given to me, in this sort of Branch of service. Im relocating to wherever the new job is so the commute will be reliable for the best of service. Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you
