I’m not sure how they work it out, but it wouldnt be surprising that such equipment remains property of the company at least for a certain time.
I checked out a few of them in the list and some do specify it very clearly on their benefits page so it seems a very trustworthy source. I assume not all do it to avoid bogus applications.
